I like Clint's westerns but to me The Unforgiven was just so so. They must have rated these after 1968. I watched Fistful and Good,Bad, Ugly st walk-in theater alone before I was 11.
@@famouspeople63 The remake of 3:10 to Yuma was rated R, but the original was under the Hayes Code. Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More were released in the US before there was a ratings system.
Two things: 1. To those who say films couldn't have been rated "R" prior to 1968 -- some films were rated retroactively once the new system was established. This especially applies to any movies re-released since their original debut. Even Dumbo (1942) has a rating (G).... 2. Wrangler, I think you mean to feature the 2007 version of 3:10 to Yuma as R. The 1957 version has not been rated by the MPAA :)
The Good The Bad and The Ugly : at least two errors made 1) He was Known as Blondie not Joe ( Joe was a Fistful of Dollars) 2) They were after $200000.00 dollars not $20000.00 as you said. Open Range here (UK) got a 12 certificate.

The $200,000 they were after in TGTB&TU, was Leone's wry reference to the budget of Fistful of Dollars.
@@LowPlainsDrifter60 Thank you for that fact.

Im looking for current movies, not old ones
This is probably not the best channel for you. I do talk from time to time about newer westerns but most of my audience like the older ones.
