What he's really trying to say is the process of moving from the inside edge to the outside edge of each ski, but this also needs to be in timing with pole plants of the corresponding pole while keeping the shoulders aligned downhill. This should be done like a dance instructor does, step-by-step, pole-by-pole. Not this, ''let it all hang out'' style so prevalent in common instruction.
