May i say, a day late, Happy 30th Birthday to ALL who are involved in HIGNFY. I ve been a delighted viewer of this for all 30 years, and still watch these highlights in my retirement years to lift my spirits every day. I hope it s not too sugary to say, God bless you all.
God the year my 18 year old child eas born and two years before I got my first computer. 😂 only catching up on the whole of telly since we didnt have engkish channel as a kid only irish one and two ..😂 i think ive nearly watched the whole internet now though.
Just found these wonderful compilations - many, many thanks! I don't suppose the ones that the killjoy pedants at youtube have deemed unviewable are hosted elsewhere at all, are they? Thanks again!
www.dailymotion.com/video/xscmo6 Dailymotion is your friend for HIGNFY! Pretty sure he has multiple series from all eras in full. Not quite as good for quality as these compilations though
it's common on BBC programmes, HIGNFY, Nevermind the Buzzcocks, Mock the Week, Would I lie to you, before Sandi Toksvig, Qi with Stephen Fry was often all men, it's not unusual, but it is happening less and less.
@@RIXRADvidz Pretty sure it's now policy for panel shows that they have to include at least one woman in every show, either as a panelist or guest host where applicable. Mock the Week, HIGNFY, Just a Minute, QI, all have had at least one female panellist in every show for several years now. The last programme of HIGNFY to feature 4 male panellists and a male host was in October 2013, only one other episode since then has featured no women, and that was the episode in December 2016 where Nicky Morgan was supposed to appear but pulled out, so they replaced her with a handbag.
Danny Baker and Jeremy Clarkson two of the most overrated commentators ever, both lost their lucrative jobs due to thinking they are untouchable, I don’t care f I never see them on tv again. Not missed at all.

RIP Nicholas Parsons, what an absolute national treasure he was, Just a Minute will never be the same without him 😭
He was a perverted, irritating freak.
I'd forgotten Jeremy Paxman's resentful weather forecasts - they're fabulous.

Same here Miriam !
What a class act Mr Parsons was. Legend of radio 4
Thanks for posting.
I can see why you had the 40-something Julia Hartley-Brewer as the screenshot, as opposed to Jeremy Clarkson.
I love how much like Elmer Fudd Ian looks in this series...
Love these compilations thanks for posting them👍👍
Nicholas Parsons, missed like crazy.
absolute national treasure
Victoria Duffy Totally agree.
Fantastically good sport
He'd have been a wonderful doctor who
Kirsty Young, innit, yeah. One Lady that could Turn this Confirmed Bachelor.
What a great way to end the weekend.
2005, the year when the NuWho and Mock the Week started.

What a great combo Chris and Paul were.
Not long after this, Chris Langham was arrested for possession of child pornography.
Sweet Sundae. it's got HIGGY all over it. Thx!
@23:20 I lost it with Paul’s Frankenstein.
I wonder what the Queens done with Rolfs painting 🤨
hung it up in Andrew's Room.....
Genius comment
Hugh Abbott was pretty funny on this. It goes to show there’s another side to these politicians.
I wonder if anyone has ever done a Doctor Who cut of this show with all the times it's been mentioned or had a guest from the show.
Please tell me you have the full Nicholas Parsons episode! Been wanting to see this one again for years!

37:28 I thought the actor mentioned here, Norman Shelly looked like the character on Paul's T-shirt...😁
God if we ever needed a Paxman its now ....
Is he dead?
I just watched the Christopher Mayhew film. Underwhelming but interesting
Oh dear, they followed the great Kirsty Young with Dobby.
Watch a few seasons and Ian's pretty up on yoof culture...if he's getting it from his kids good on him for taking interest
18:37 Randy Old Man
Paul Merton is the funniest human.
tonight on ReWatch : Everybody Loves A Winner ! except that one. 8:23, Paul's toes curl
17:12 Paul got the intro wrong, it was "And now, from Norwich, it's the quiz of the week." It was never live from....
perhaps conflated with the intro to "Saturday Night Live" ?
Whats the women called on the thumbnail, i recognise her but forget her name
Julia Hartley-Brewer
14:36 spot the peodo !
12:51 found one
This must have been just before his #cough# legal difficulties

Yeah, it was less bland, funnier and far superior.
Funny how no one gave a shit until the social media age.
Birds aren't as funny as blokes. Accept it
💚.

hang on: disgraced geography teacher.
I've been out with Nicolas Parsons
To the ads, do you think we really want to see your crap during this?! 😠
That’ll tell ‘em. 🤦♀️

Preachin' to the Choir !!
Agree entirely. Both like to rub shoulders with true entertainers and both are extremely tiresome, verging on boring.
Julia hartley brewer is stunning
Maybe so, but she’s a shit journalist
Nasty inside, your taste not mine out.
ly awful.
Stunningly racist
TWO FACED BREXIT LIAR.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Hartley-Brewer should be banned from appearing on this programme.
Why just HIGNFY all programmes benefit from not having her on.
Banned? Are you in North Korea?
repitition...baden baden
