Today we went on a day trip and took the dogs to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We visited 40 mile Point Lighthouse, then crossed the Mackinaw Bridge, and headed to Paradise, Michigan. From there we went to Taquamenon Falls, and then up to Whitefish Point!

I didn't know Oakley and Shelby when they were so young, so it was a real treat to see them on a snow adventure. Oakley was so perky and having so much fun. Thanks for sharing.

I was at all those spots you visited except the lighthouse. I missed that one. But the falls are beautiful! When I went with my friend to Whitefish Point, the coldness coming off the lake and the windchill due to the wind told us - there were only 2 things missing: SNOW and ICE! Short of that, a guy taking our photo said - all you need now are ice cycles coming off your mustaches! That is how cold it was (mind you we had on warm clothes and jackets in June) on the southern shore of Lake Superior
the snow must of been fun for the snow dogs they went to the snow and there dogs :D. very nice video. have a great day.

Love seeing your beautiful dogs walking in the snow what a beautiful area so much snow. Good job at carrying Oakley all the way down those steps.

WOW! That is a lot more snow then we get over here in the UK, I wish we got that much snow! & Oakley is sure enjoyed being carried down them stairs:)

awesome video guys - i was amazed at the waterfall and the ice form just after it...when will spring hit you guys? since there was so much snow, will there be floods with the snow melt?

Right when you were walking on the trail I knew you were at the falls! We go there all the time (I live in the LP)
when i had my husky she HATED going over the Mackinac bridge, she would howl the whole way across, lol.
Jamie saved Oakley back pain but i bet he had a painful back after carrying her down! oakley looks heavier than my dog and shes a heavy dog

Looks like fun! I have to tell you the funniest thing. My cat opened my door at 430 am then she left then I closed my door then she opened my door again then left and I haven't slept since and now I'm sick :P

Do your girls pull on the leash like they are pulling a sled? Mine was a sled dog and she still pulls on leash.
hello, i have a question i just got a husky yesterday from these people who cant take care of him anymore, hes 8months old hes pretty big n really strong, but he jumps on us and when on leash he pulls a lot. any advice? thanks
