Luckily, I have my BFF to help me out-my KitchenAid Stand Mixer, the #1 Mixer Brand in the world.* Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! 🌺

Fluffy Dinner Rolls (via Mel's Kitchen Cafe )
Ingredients
1 ¼ cups milk
¼ cup water
4 Tbsp salted butter, at room temperature or melted, plus more for brushing
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 Tbsp instant or active dry yeast
1 large egg
1 ¼ tsp salt
4 ¼ to 4 ½ cups AP flour

Instructions:
1. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until milk is steaming. Pour into the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the dough hook.
2. Add water, 4 Tbsp butter, and sugar. Let mixture cool until warm, 105-110℉ on an instant-read thermometer.
3. Stir in yeast and let rest for 5-7 mins until mixture is foamy.
4. Add egg, salt, and flour, starting with 3 ¾ to 4 cups flour, and mix, adding additional flour gradually, just until dough clears the sides of the bowl and forms a soft, sticky ball. Don’t over flour the dough.
5. Knead for 5-6 mins, until dough is soft and smooth.
6. Cover and let rise in a warm spot until doubled, ~1 hour.
7. Grease a 9x13 inch pan and set aside, lightly punch down the dough and turn out onto a lightly greased countertop.
8. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place in the prepared pan, spacing ½ inch or so apart (four rows of three rolls.)
9. Cover with greased plastic wrap or with a towel and let rise until doubled, ~1 hour. The rolls should be very puffy with the sides touching.
10. Preheat the oven to 375℉. Place an oven rack in the middle position.
11. Bake rolls for 15-20 mins, until golden on top and bottom. Brush the tops of the rolls with additional melted butter immediately after removing them from the oven. Serve warm or let cool completely on the pan.
12. Yum.

I think people have this impression that actors & actresses are sitting on thrones with maids and butlers. That’s rarely the case. They may not all scrub their floors and toilets (I’d have a cleaning service too every week or so if I had the money). They’re pretty much like most of us…cooking, general cleaning, errands, packing kids lunches, grocery shopping…yard work, gardening, prepping for entertaining….this isn’t like the Hollywood days of old. They’re real people too. 😊
She loves family.

She is someone who actually will greet you back. I love this lady. Her shows are so funny. I see that she is just herself. And it is just living life like everyone else is. No matter the money, fame because we all are still people doing the exact same thing.

I've had my KitchenAid stand mixer for at least 25 years. It's indispensable. Mine is sort of a gun metal chrome. I don't know quite how to describe it. I've never seen one like it in anyone else's kitchen. Oh...and Jennifer is a delight to watch in any capacity.

I too have a kitchenaid bowl lift mixer that I adore. Mine is black onyx. I polish it like a sports car after each use.
If we had a fire, i would of course get the family out first, but I would try and save my mixer! And my recipe box, cant replace those hand written cards from loved ones. ❤

It has been a while though.
I have the same color but I have the
one where bowl locks into the base.
sometimes it gets stuck like a too tightened pickle lid after mixing dough. but I give it its moment and lift out dough. oil the bowl and cover to rise...face down then flip the dough ball...now moisturised with olive oil and wont stick to the top when it rises .
bowl is easier to twist off when dough is out for shaping.💪

I still have my momma’s Kitchen Aid (lift) that is about 48 years old….still going strong! I have a new smaller one (tilt head) because I only have the paddle for the old one. They don’t make them like they used to…although, still a great product. I swear I could smell this video! 😍

I have neglected my stand mixer since I accidentally ruined my paddle attachment over a year ago. Most stuff I make has been kneading by hand, like your tried and true pizza dough, that I make at least twice a month 😊
