HEY EVERYONE!!! HAPPY POKÉMON 20TH ANNIVERSARY!!! Let's celebrate #Pokemon20 together, with this remix of Pallet Town! Making this was quite a ride, so please enjoy!
I realised I hadn't done many remixes from earlier Pokémon generations, so I just had to for this special occasion! I went with a happier source, Pallet Town, to reflect on the years I've had, personally, with Pokémon. The celesta in the Pallet Town melodies are there to reflect this.
I focused a lot on synths and changing up the chords, and I think I've fulfilled that goal, with a smooth transition to the Trainer Battle theme from the originals (if I do say so myself). The break in the middle of the piece, with the pads, is a little iffy, but I needed to find a way to circle back to the Pallet Town theme, and I think it sounds decent enough. I also wanted to throw in the melody from Route 1, but I scrapped it when the remix reached 8, almost 9, minutes in length!
Sooo much work was put into this, and I think this is my best remix so far, really glad it's for Pokémon's 20th. Also, a huge thanks to Kamex, I cannot thank you enough dude! Without him, this remix wouldn't be here right now, so yeah! If you like what you hear, please give this video a thumbs up! i really like how diverse this remix is! there's a lot of variation and changes which prevents you from getting bored even though this remix is lengthy. soundscape is great and the mixing is clean! has to be one of your best works out there. really enjoyable song to listen to :)

I actually put in all the Kanto starters' cries, but Bulbasaur is in there twice. Probs 'cause it's my favourite of the three.

Comment question: Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon? And what are your expectations for the new games?
I really hope that Sun/Moon links to X/Y in some way, because the generation was 1) too short and 2) left without any closure, story-wise and Pokémon-wise. My hope for Sun/Moon is that Game Freak pulls a Gold/Silver on us and allows travel between the new region and Kalos. It would be entirely possible if they made the games either exclusive to the _New_ 3DS, or the NX. The travelling to regions would also reinforce the 20th anniversary idea, as it would be a callback to the first two gens. But, I don't know. Who's to say what Game Freak does? Either way, we'll get a pair of new main series games by the end of the year, so I'm not complaining! XD
+LOrbSheddy Sadly, its pretty much confirmed gen 7. After doing that whole montage of all the main pokemon games from each generation, I don't see how its not gen 7.

That's why I'm hoping for a link back to Kalos. Even if it is Gen 7, it doesn't eliminate the possibility!
Fair point, I would like to see that actually. Maybe make it as part of sun and moon's post game (like what gen 2 did).
+LOrbSheddy I want to see the legends first, but so far I'm pretty sure I'll go with Sun as I usually pick the "red" version over the "blue" version :P I'm hoping we get more creatures that XY, and a better story!
I just picked the logo and the mascot Pokemon that looked cooler when I was younger XD. Now however, I just see what exclusive Pokemon both games have before making a decision. (or pick both, that works to lawl).

Pokemon Moon, for one reason; I haven't played Pokemon since gen 3, 4 if you count spin off games. If there's one thing that can get me back into the games, it's a legendary moon bat.

I am getting both games, but I am Team Sun. I am hoping that the new games do not have as many plotholes as X&Y did. And I totally agree that I hope the games link with X&Y in someway as well.
