This is one of my favorites so far! Got interested in spaceflight the year I turned 7 in 1995 when I saw Apollo 13 in the theatres. Thanks Jello and the FPP team!
Hey how come yall dont have any interviews with f105 drivers? They deserve it, they were probably the most screwed over fighter/bombers of all time (their missions were broadcast to the enemy before they left the ground, and often they would fly a mission with 1 bomb so they could say they had x ampunt of planes for a mission)
@@FighterPilotPodcast and now I feel dumb haha, I dont know how I missed it and damn that was really clever making it episode 105.....and I even watched it and commented on it last year, wow I didnt realize my memory was that horrible
With all due respect, why didn't you asked him how does Dragon fly compared to Shuttle?? What does he think about Musk, Starship etc... The biggest deal in the world, not what was happening in the 70ties. Bit dissapointed tbh...
Absolutely fascinating. Especially loved the Q&A about the Shuttle hand controllers and the discussion of manual Shuttle operations.

Blackbird: "Hey, ATC, say speed."
Space shuttle: (... Hold my beer.)
Any chance of doing a video on the FW 190? They're fascinating planes engineering wise, fast for the time too.
If we can find the right guest.
What about this space discussion made you think of a WW2 fighter?
@@mylesanhalt9155 I see. 🤔
Does Space Shuttle on the Atari 2600 count as simulator time?
🤔

Gotta admit I am a little disappointed in how Mr. Aiello sees skateboarders, I didn't think he was such a boomer.
My son is a skateboarder
@@FighterPilotPodcast Oh thank god, that's great to hear. Sorry for jumping to conclusions and acting so sour.
@@petertimowreef9085 No worries. I don't even remember what I said that prompted your comment in the first place.
