That sluice needs to be adjusted so the water doesn't run so fast over it washing out alot of gold before it even touches the carpet. Btw he is not running a full mining operation he just doing it as a hobby.

Fun fact it has rained so much in California to the point that all the rocks that were on the side of the mountain washed off into the lake and all of the dirt settled in the bottom of the stream so now people will find more gold in the Stream now :) The more you know 💫
Half your gold is falling right back out the end of the tube. Put a 45 fitting on the end with 6" more tube, and turn it up right after you suck up material. You'll have a lot less loss👍

Those Yeti buckets are one of those “ridiculously overpriced” items, until you actually find out how useful it is. Still ridiculously overpriced, but imo, justified. Best buckets out there.
I once had a dream about lottery numbers to play and won 4 out of 6 numbers. I wonder if sometimes gold hunters get dreams (or inspiration) of where to dig/search?

$5 worth of gold is not not huge but definitely another great find!

I thought it was illegal if your sluice water went back to the running body of water. Instead, you need to dump water away from the river.
It might be illegal in your area. Prospecting laws and regulations vary from area to area. It’s legal where in my location.
