Citlali gives a mix of shielding, res shred, easy to activate off-field cryo application, and most importantly for Mavuika, fighting spirit generation. Charlotte by comparison only does cryo application and healing. I'd say Diona is actually Mavuika's best 4 star team mate, shield, healing, and a team EM buff to boost Mavuika's damage at C6.
With Citlali - Meowuka generates next ulti much-much faster, also she procs cryo all the time and not just once - so after initial nuke there will be much more melts, plus nice shield, plus can wear Natlan's support set - (so she gives 20% pyro pen and 40% pyro dmg%, on c1/c2/signature weapon even more). So if enemy is not oneshoted - then Citlali is waaaay better.
You need a C1 or R1 to hit 1 million melt nuke. Or a single Citlali/Xilonen does the same job with Mailed Flower 990k melt from C0 R1, crit 75cr/313cdmg, 4200 ATK and 625 EM. (team is Instructors C6 Diona, Scroll Kachina, Noblesse Benny) This is without Imaginarium Theater 20% atk buff on Benny or any abyss buffs. That is R1 230CV with plenty atk/em rolls and not even 1 million. You could do 1 million if you get really strong artifacts at like 240-250 crit value and keeping the crit rate at 70
Nope, i hit 1.2 million without citlali, just Rosaria,bennet and Xilonen also my mavuika is C0 with wolfsgravestone and EM sands, and i hit 4.1 million on the natlan wayob boss,thats my highest mavuika C0 damage

With citlali you can melt every hit when doing donuts so that damge really stacks up also she provides 100 spirit for muviaka burst, so yeah citlali is required get full damage out of muviaka kit.
I was one of the lucky few who got Mavuika and her weapon under 60 pulls... I can wait for Citlali because I have been waiting for Shenha since I started playing the game. Legit, I started playing a week after her last banner was around lol.
citlali is not only about just damage buff, but also about sustainability and common convenience, which only she can provide for mavuika, comparing with other cryo supports
@ her shield in average build gives around 10-12k hp, which is more than enough and you forgot very important advantage - stable cryo application in a huge aoe, independent of positioning(follows character) - a feature that only citlali have so we have at least 5 advantages

Im having a hard time playing mavuika in the abyss ngl Yes the first 2 chambers are kinda easy but the 3rd chamber especially the 2nd side for mavuika is kinda tough I cant break the papilla boss since she doesn't attack much and xilonen only applies one instance of nightsoul points I dont have citlali and i only use rosaria/charlotte (but charlotte is only good for 1 instance of damage esp. for burst nuke and cannot sustain the cryo app and most of the time rosaria is better coz of cryo app or diona for em buff but lower cryo app) Maybe u really need citlali there lol 😅😂 so get through with the shield easily

Yes.. in hyperbloom based damage EM from triggered not applier. So in hyperbloom reaction just take EM from electro char like kuki, Raiden, etc. Not from dendro or hydro char, they just buff or debuff or heal or off field damage dealer or onfield damage dealer like alhaytham

nah, furina is way more flexible. Xilonen can use cindercity buff along with resistance shread and can recharge energy for mavuika and can also heal. Using kazhua is really stupid. Citlali is good but not worth the primos. She doesn't buff cryo and will be useless when sheneznaya releases. Meanwhile furina is always good and futureproof.

Supports have favonious sword, thrilling tales and skyward sword. At c6 the burst would easily do to 5 million+ And melted charged atks would be over a million each.
Short answer: Not necessarily Long Answer: My C0R1 Mavuika's damage jumped from a 100K-200K damage burst to a 300K-500K burst with Citlali on Sac Frag. This damage will probably increase when I use TTDS on her. But 100K-200K still isn't bad damage and will get you through most content.
