Vanessa Kirby was really captivating as Margaret, she gave her a witch-like enchanting quality. The whole cast was excellent... I can't wait for the series to tackle the Diana years, although that's still probably several seasons away.

Whoever casted Claire Foy in here is brilliant. I mean, who would've thought she could pull off such identical voice and accent of the queen, which has not been done as well as Claire. I'm saying this as someone who have watched several versions of Queen Elizabeth in movies and have watched alot of Her Majesty's documentaries.

The concept is awesome... they are going to take it through her whole life apparently. It will be sad to see Claire and matt go after 2 seasons because they are awesome (and Jon too but he's already gone because Churchill's character is deceased at the end of episode 9), but it will be really cool to see them bring new characters in to see the characters in all the different stages throughout her reign.

I've watched all 10 episodes over 3 days. Absolutely brilliant production from top to bottom. Great writing, acting, costumes, scenery. Loved it and can't wait for 2nd series.

Ashley Bautista Every season will be recast. Its easier to find actors that fit the role/age than putting make up on them. It would look fake and take away fron the realism

What an amazing series. I've watched it twice and can't wait for series 2. The cast is superb, all of them. I don't remember George VI, but Jared Harris's portrayal is at once regal, sympathetic and so profoundly human. Bravo to the writers and actors. The dialog coach did a brilliant job.
Amazing, historic, educational for us as foreigners and for me captivating the history of the country of my nephews.... 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This weekend I have watched the whole 10 shows twice. There is nothing about it I do not love. John Lithgow was exceptional in his portrayal of Sir Winston Churchill. For that matter the entire cast were superb. Kudos to the writer, casting the whole company. I cannot wait for season 2. LOVED IT.
Interesting having watched the show only knowing the actor John Lithgow. Vanessa Kirby and Claire Foy look very different from their characters.
Nullveer matt smith played the doctor on doctor who!! I loved him prior to watching this, he was brilliant on doctor who. The guy who played the duke of Windsor (the uncle that abdicated) also played in the movie "the Queen" as prince Charles. The queen (starring Helen Miren as queen Elizabeth during the time of princess Diana's death) inspired this series, and one or two of the creators of this series was also involved in the making of the Queen. If you watch that movie you can see how they tried to style this series off of the format of that movie (although the writing, the filmography, the scenery and costumes are far better on the crown because the budget is a lot bigger). But they both kind of merge the real with the acting. They both show the behind the scenes of the royal family's lives. The Queen used real footage and stuff just like they did with the coronation on the crown. The only thing is the Queen was mostly about the week following princess Diana's death. But it still showed the behind the scenes In the castle and the family interaction and interaction with the prime minister (who was Tony Blair at the time).
All the performances are amazing!
This was great, thanks for posting, I love "The Crown" and the story it's telling! As much as I love the "Hey You Guuuuys!" quote at the end your videos, I hope you all realize that was the opening segment shouted on the kids show "The Electric Company" from the 70s and 80s and it was featured in "The Goonies" showing how "Sloth" is heavily influenced by TV. Some fun trivia for everyone, lol!

All I can do is add to what everybody else is saying - this series is extraordinarily brilliant. I cared very little about the royals in general, but I very much enjoyed The Crown, and happened to catch Helen Mirren in the stage play The Audience when I visited the UK a few years back and enjoyed that one, so I gave this new series a shot. Me and the wife watched Season 1 across a couple weeks and in fact I watched two of the episodes while sat in the park next to Buckingham Palace during my most recent trip to the UK (I thought that would make it more intense). Great stuff; looking forward to seasons 2 through 6.
Vanessa Kirby's Margaret is hands down in the top 3 of my favorite characters in the whole series (season 1-5) alongside Menzies's Prince Philip and Season 3-4 & season 5 Princess Anne

I have to disagree with Harris: the show is not about power, because the Royals are shown as virtually powerless before the majesty of the Crown and its centuries-long history. The show is about Duty. It is the 800-lb gorilla in every scene; it's a character on all its very own. Perhaps the reason we don't recognize it is its ubiquity in the tale and the fact that we hardly see observance of Duty today. Everyone in 1950 England understood what it was. Hardly anyone understands it in this age of unremitting self-indulgence.
The fact that Morgan wrote every word is nothing short of miraculous. In a series like this it is so rare where one single creative genius has control over the writing without any apparent signs of boredom with the personalities he captures.
British, but not a royalist, I nevertheless salute the imagination with which Peter Morgan brought a whole history to life, the immaculate performances from a stellar cast, and the attentiveness of the production. Late to the party, but three series in, the show has constantly reminded me of my own parents, who were almost exact contemporaries of The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. Although they came from very humble backgrounds they nevertheless embodied many of the qualities of a Britain that changed so radically during their lifetimes.
Everyone in this series is good !

British monarchy was responsible for genocide in many of their former colonies. They should learn from Germans. Its high time that they say a simple SORRY for the atrocities they did in their former colonies. Atleast pay respect to the lost lives of millions of soldiers like from India who fought for England in first and second world war.
It's been a constitutional monarchy for centuries, the monarch hasn't had even a grain of power for ages and ages, it's been all done by the prevailing Governments and the Establishment (with capital E) as a whole.
Sorry dear Peter but let me tell you that this show (THE CROWN) got out of your British oriented vision to become a universal phenomenon addressed to hundreds of millions of viewers around the globe thanks to Netflix. Because when Shakespeare or Dickens wrote their written works they didn't have in mind that all humanity was going to appreciate their art and this art was going to be translated to dozens of languages ,the magic of The Crown comes from its novelty by uncovering the hidden aspects of the British royal family and showing the human sides of the people who make this family .

Many people haven't seen it, myself included. He said he was flattered to have his show compared to Downton even though he hasn't ever seen it and has obviously heard great things about it and it's success. I'd say he's being very humble.

Спасибо за 6 сезон мне очень понравился то что там все это уже история из семьи описана история жизни семьи тоже спасибо огромное за такую сезон который тоже можно легко выписывать всю историю 6 сезона за кран новую часть фильма на которой 3 сезон тоже хорошие замечательные всё про семью было написано я старалась как могла я настоящие фильмы смотрела пыталась по нему писать по поводу самопринцессы Дианы принцесса Чарльза настоящего именно ту историю настоящую пытался писать даже пытался по эпизодом описать как она любила именно до диафаеды была семья почти распалась за дотяну фаиды ну вроде бы всё ну всё всё наладилось и никто ну тут тоже в такатастрофа именно дала свои там плоды потом конечно всё не то что было раньше конечно это новая история которая будет долго длиться вот я старалась вчера описывать это всё потому что этот фильм он у нас только интересен то что мне нравится именно история про самого жизни принцессы Дианы блин сейчас же из-за этого пытался ей описать всё это именно смотря на именно тут фильмы смотрел и сравниваю с этим да здесь вообще самое интересное что здесь другая история немножко ходит и другая история но интересно даже история очень особенно третий сезон этого кран новый который о нём узнала спасибо огромное вам всем актёру потому что это очень интересное кино правда для меня это третий сезон ну какой-то новый особенный там и совсем другая принцесса другая и другая и Елизавета ii и Элизабет даже по-моему если я не ошибаюсь вот так интересная история здесь очень интересная

Да характер и Элизабет было немножко другой потому что ну она более-менее такая была скромная такая ластонная чуть-чуть вот но всё равно характер у него был покладистый она была спокойная но вела себя как настоящая королева она имела власть над людьми интересно всё было там вообще прямо можно ну принцесса Самара говорит она и да она была тоже интересная настолько такая чувственная что ли ну так же одета была красивая у меня просто было облачение просто можно написать яркий платья настолько яркие настолько брусские синие даже тёмно-сиреневые очень красивые и обязательно серебряная корона обязательно была на голове у или об этом постоянно была корона на голове то мы делала что ну просто диво красивая была она такая интересная общительная вот на публике она вы седая перед людьми и также начинала именно какие-то вопросы люди задавали она пыталась ответить на них она пыталась именно рассказать и много там ну тоже какие-то тоже конференции будет заседания э в общем тоже были тоже не знаю собрание министров тоже ну он там другой немножко было но всё равно собрание эти всякие показывали тоже bbc много показывали много интересных фактов приводилось потом по поводу даже беседы особенно там было показано как тоже выступление её показывали коронации интересно всё вообще коронация вообще длилась очень долго и там даже балл был даже показан очень интересное кино очень интересное 3 сезон потому что больше как-то на третий сезон все укладывается этот третий сезон что мы делаем первый второй я даже не знаю что там было но первый скорее всего коронация а вот третий вот именно вся эта жизнь фамили Фэмили семья семья и принца Гарри семья и принца Чарльза семья принцесса Диана и всё тоже вся эта семья и всё описано даже здесь немножко описано особенно про принца Гарри было написано вся история что у него было девушка что очень к ней даже у них встретили друг с другом интересно даже встреча показывали вообще там вообще интересно было история очень интересная мысли именно об этом обязательно глубже глубься вместе по поводу углубимся по поводу этой истории с принцем Гарри мы будем потом иметь в виду как описывать это всё тоже будет интересно момент от которого типа описывать пока ещё только буду смотреть просто блин загарина конференции по поводу и его семьи у которого в будущем это всё будет пока ты про принца Чарльз за всё время с принцессой Дианой и всё время их история любви и их истории жизни там одно дело алфавита который она уважала любила которая относился она к нему со всей душой сердцем ну история любви там началась и на другой стороне другой ну там вообще так интересно очень бывает история там написано что он делала что каждый раз показывали то в кафе то всё где-то тут там где-то в самолёте их показано интересно было история очень интересная вот вообще это новая история которую будем втягиваться в эту историю и обещаю что побольше узнаю ничего страшного нет это только начало больше больше про третий сезон будем стоить посильнее будем узнавать и описывать уже историю и её жизни история её именно её вот этих э-э каких-то собраний её может быть именно выход на публику как отношение к людям и всё такое тоже будем это всё углубляться отношения к людям явно делаю не было очень хорошее потому что она была очень спокойной никогда она никого не не влияло так чтобы кому-то больно делать нет она была спокойна абсолютно Эльза это она вообще очень спокойно была женщина и она относилась к людям очень спокойно и была она именно то же как королева допустим тоже вела себя спокойно также и пытался отвечать на вопросы людей и её тоже все встречали и именно как бы жест какой-то показать ей в общем тоже интересные истории здесь тоже ну очень интересная в общем ну я представляю когда на публику выходила как она общалась с публикой там тоже показывали немножко кадры я помню в общем-то он тоже как это вот именно платформа была или сцена там тоже много интересного было очень много описано про Элизабет

А как красиво была одета сама принцессой сама именно сама королева была одета красивая вот её до сих пор помню это вам не не Маргарет тэтчеры это вообще там макароны серебряная красивая корона на ней была и такой цвет платье прямо серебряное и даже было даже и синее платье что интересно но настолько такой яркое красивое она прямо вот реально Элизабет была яркой женщина ну её показали уже такой старенькую но она всё равно была очень красивая мне вот актриса которая тоже снималась именно Элизабет играла по старше который женщина она очень хорошо передала эту роль я вспомнила немножко немножко о ней чуть-чуть потому что я только чуть-чуть начала смотреть и мне уже стало нравится потому что история намного немножко другая больше связана с короной больше связано с коронацией которая проходили немного болов было выпускные баллы были вот это уже интереснее было которое показывали именно платье описывалось которое всё время одевали они и она одевала красивые платье они даже не просто платье вот именно засунуровкой сзади на которой всегда тошнуровали 100% такие одежды носили пятидесятых-шестидесятых годов руки были обязательно сзади потому что это что-то новое вот интересно вообще блоки наносили очень красивый платье вот ты мне очень её понравилась корона она была серебряная яркая блестящая из бриллиантами из бриллиант с бриллиант да бриллианты были на короне да и очень красиво бриллиантовая корона была серебряная серебряная с бриллиантами красиво очень корона была
Мне кажется этот человек по-моему приближённый королеве по-моему это что-то такое интересное не просто тут такой ведущий это это что-то приближённость к королеве что-то такое знакомое лицо этого человека ну как-то он больше там приближён был к королеве а то мы делаем что мне кажется здесь прямо история настоящая актёр это сидят актёры ну тут человек который настоящий история жизни и то и вот в том делаю что мне кроется что-то человек всё-таки знал королеву и много знает о ней что-то интересное скорее всего судьбу он больше знать то что я именно даже смотрела э фильм состоящий или за и за это настоящий и именно с настоящей королевой или Запад подобранная история хорошо подобрана правда я вначале подумала что это или забыто вторая то что она в двадцать втором году всё-таки умерла и показывали именно похороны этого дела а тут уже актёры похожую роль подобрали женщины очень интересно ролики была тоже как бы тоже когда-нибудь увидите живую её потому что тоже интересная актриса так и своих тех ещё всё видимо новых пока никак не видим сильно а королева именно я ещё не видела толком вживую а так вот именно история ты рисовую Элизабет я видела потому что да интересная история про принца Гарри будет 100% описана в дальнейшем там тоже надо ознакомиться немножко с этой историей подальше поглубже ещё попробую эту историю постепенно ещё освоить по поводу как говорится Гарри а потом видно будет что будет интересно то что там много осваивать ещё придётся пока только начала начало уже положено конечно же конец начало положены будь дальше ещё что-то интересное попробуем что-то ещё изложить будет интересно очень
Да Элизабет здесь вторая которая именно королева Элизабет потому что уже другая немножко история но там имеется это больше коронации показывали с ней потом показывали много именно конной кавалерии вот что-то такое интересное было вот всё это с третьим немножко сезоном связано за Краун новую сезона чуть-чуть я сейчас смотрю дальше даже четвёртый сезон смотрю мы уже даже постепенно и о свой ну его пока ещё нет четвёртого сезона но он будет потому что сейчас только будут показывать весной и начнётся пока сына третьего сезона которая за Краун который новые и вторая часть фильма э вот там конечно много интересного там экранации показывали э-э или за- не могу никак говорить или забыть всё-таки там а вот и её жизни и также э также она великая королева она кадры того фильма который нового что она очень спокойна она очень спокойно общается очень тихо общается что интересно это подстать королеве она в общем там немножко другие там тоже собрание разные нам бывают но это совсем какая-то история немножко другая совсем собрание премьер-министров также и всё это какие-то вопросы другие решаются не вот именно вопрос там знаете открываться даже на дуту там сидят другие вопросы там скорее всего именно больше всего рассчитано с скорее всего с какой-нибудь другой истории потому что там история семьи история жизни и принца Чарльза принцессы Дианы и другие принцесс маргареты и там даже по-моему даже много-много историй написано но больше семейная история потому что там нету вот этой истории которую больше политическая а больше семейная история фм или там история жизни история любви там описаны все вот именно в жизни и самые и королевы именно самой её коронации описано вот как корона на ней была такая красивая и очень такая серебряная красивая корона на ней была очень ну на была великолепная женщина она тоже выступала на публике что она тоже публичная женщина много людей показали публику и она всё время там выступала немножко другая история но зато интересная история интереснее чем там с маргаретчер ну вот тут жизни именно другой истории жизнь семьи это очень интересно ну там же уже и сам блин сейчас уже постарел и принцесса Диана уже не такая как была раньше она очень там история семьи немножко другая там и там уже дети подросли даже принц Гарри даже подросток уже интересный такой у него девушка была и они там даже встречались друг с другом у них даже по-моему даже уже отношения пошли какие-то тоже они их будет там много описываться история потому что там тоже история семьи также будет описываться про принца Гарри с девушкой его в общем интересно там будет всё это дальнейшем это я ещё историю то и только ещё изучаю историю по поводу принца Гарри и его девушки и жизни принца Гарри в общем тоже будет интересно очень если это описываться это я ещё такое изучаю той историю про именно Гарри очень интересная история будет я так думаю то что там очень много и мы так же ознакомились все такие же способом пытаемся сделать подкасты под э принцип Гарри с его семьёй тоже интересно будет очень интересно будет там тоже все рассказывают показать 4 сезон я так на это думаю пока ещё только готовимся
Ах вон что там про школу всё время было а какие-то школы открывались да скорее всего именно школы скорее всего на как бы описывались именно как именно жесты друг другу так именно там какие-то школы именно танцев школы танцев особенно открывались и э даже именно тоже интересная школа скорее всего она была учителем э каким-нибудь потому что тут очень сильно описано что она как как Элизабет она всё-таки была скорее всего учителем потому что потому что я смотрела настоящие bbc с ней её а вот мне казался например такая вот такая учтивая женщина такая учтивая дама очень интересная такая ну как сказать очень спокойная и она очень тихо общалась с интересной даже я слушала немножко но это глубится дальше это не вот про она молодой забыто а который постарше вот ну интересно тоже история каждая вот описана надеюсь всё что побольше сезонов будет больше больше будет интересно но пока только пытаюсь все описать именно её саму потихоньку потому что я сейчас пока только описываю со мной или забыто я не могу писать и вот именно что постепенно углоблю себя буду знать как описать её саму я пытаюсь описать именно не жизни её а пытайся описать как она отношение к вот как на школы с то есть открытие школ каких-то школ танцев я так думаю ну больше как ещё только и подумаю что он скул доску скорее всего школы такая школа открытия школы какие-нибудь но это решались вопросы я так думаю тоже интересно моменты
