I like relative simplicity as it doesn't take away from the fun of the transformation. In fact, I have a rule. If it takes longer to go from robot mode to alt mode and back than it takes to play Stan Bush's The Touch, it ain't worth it. Exceptions are combiners, guardians, and Titans.
