    40% is likely, but only for knowing a few English responses and phrases. Realistically, I would say less than 10% can speak English fluently. That's including service industries.
    An important tip for travelers is to organize their VND (monies) according to the respective denominations. There are a few bills that looks very similar except one is $200K VND and the other is $20K! Even in the day they look similar let alone at night. However, I'm grateful to say that, for the most part, vendors are honest and will give you correct change. Pls visit VN!

    • @adhdfangirl0526
      @adhdfangirl0526 2 месяца назад

      U clearly don't understand the difference between knowing some English and being fluent. She never said 40% of Vietnamese people are fluent in English. She mentioned that around 40% may know basic phrases or responses, which is very different from fluency. Expecting everyone in a non-English speaking country to cater to you in English is entitled, to say the least. Vietnamese people don't exist to satisfy your need for English. Show some respect when you visit other countries!

I will be visiting a former south Vietnamese soldier who I worked with during the war. I will then go to the coastal city of Nha Trang I plan to rent an apartment for two months. I will use the apartment as a base for other travels. A few days after arrival at NT go to Boun Ma Thout for a few days. I plan to visit Con Dao Islands. I will spend a night or two at Vin Pearl resort off the coast of NT. I also also plan to visit Hoi An, Danang and Hue. During the second week of April I will go to Hanoi and from there will probably take a trip to Beijing to see the Great Wall of China, spend a night or two in Hong Kong, then return to Hanoi for the rest of the month. I don’t believe ninja teacher is a scammer. I know people who trained at his school. Why do you say he’s a scammer?
