    I’m stuck between these and the Sony’s. This helps my choice a whole lot. Thanks!

      Which 1 did you ended up with?
      I don't know this existed, it looked sick and unique which I personally love. Personally I'm using a xm4

    I'm guessing you're quite new, but this was a great review. I can see this channel growing if you keep up with the quality content. :) Don't see a lot of reviews on these particular cans, and I'm looking for an alternative to the Sony's, Bose's etc that everyone else has. I already have the older Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless, which sound and look awesome, but I kind of want something that's got more up to date and modern features for 2022.

      The Technics A800 were revealed at CES 2022 this year. Alot of people tend to over look them cause they go by a different name for audio equipment but its actually Panasonic. If you looking for an alternative to the rest this one would be it. The only other headphones to match it for up to date features at this point is the Sony XM5s. I haven't heard those yet but I imagine they sound much better as well as having better ANC. Oh and about my newness to RUclips what gave me away? 😉

    How do the headphones hold up today? Are the headband and the ear pads starting to tear?

    • @KMFrequency
      @KMFrequency  5 месяцев назад

      They are in perfect condition actually and I use them all the time. The ear pads haven't torn yet. These air pads seem to be a bit more resilient than your usual pair but, mileage will vary of course. though.

      @@KMFrequency I'm glad to hear that. However, many people have reported issues with the hinges breaking after a year of use. It's unclear whether this problem is limited to the earlier batches or if it has been addressed in newer versions. This is certainly a concern.

    I am contemplating this vs Bose QC45. Primary use is calls and ANC.

      These are great headphones! The battery on these are just stellar. I can leave it for days and it'll still be holding a charge. So if you're looking for a good set of headphones with ANC for long listening sessions as well as calls this is it.

    I have the AZ 40 earbuds. Good Lord. They sound exactly like you described the A800s to sound. They’re so good that I heard the vinyl in your intro music. Edit. I just got the eight 800 yesterday. Good God. Once again, I’m shocked by the music quality that came out of these. You really don’t expect it when you first hit play. As far as the ear cups durability, I’m not worried about it since they feel much thicker than either Sony or Bose ear cups.

      The A800s have been the best sounding headphones I've ever used. Both the AZ 40 and the A800s go unnoticed because they don't have as big of a name.

      @@KMFrequency exactly. That’s the problem. People spend all this money on Sony and Bose because they think that they’re better headphones just because they’re well known in the consumer market and have more features. It honestly makes me sad. People don’t know what real quality is.

    Thanks for a nice review. I have a couple of questions. Does the voice prompt announce how much battery is left each time I turn them on? do I have to listen to music with ANC enabled or with transparency, or can I also listen with both these features turned off?

    • @KMFrequency
      @KMFrequency  2 года назад

      Thanks! I really appreciate it! The voice prompt on these things are interesting. Usually it should be when you turn them on ,but with these it's when you turn them off. Their kind of just reversed. It'll only say "low", "medium", or "high" though. As for the ANC and transparency modes you definitely don't have to have either of them on and can turn both of them off to save battery life.

    Great review. This headphone is on his way to my home right now.
    But i hope i can avoid using the App because i want to listen music.... and not get stuck in settings that overwelms me and confuse me and disconnect me from listening and have to search what option did disconnect me !!!
    I hate the many options. Its to much. Music is the thing i want to hear. But not with spoiling my travel time searching through the App on how to hear music back again. The Sony XM4 did disconnect my each time. I did trow this headphone over the bridge because of this option i could not find in the App. The buttons Volume and trebble and bass is more than enough.

      These headphones are awesome!! If music is what you're trying to hear it's definitely what you're gonna get. The highlight here on these is the battery life. Some of the longest lasting pair I've ever used. To be honest you won't need to mess with the app very much if at all. These are very tech friendly.

      @@KMFrequency thanks for your comment. I cant wait to get him over my ears 🤩 And i'm very glad the buttons are on the right ''not left'' ear 👍 because my left hand has 61% less feeling.

    When reviewing sound quality next time, please include the depth, sound stage, separation of instruments etc.

      I will definitely make a note of that next time! 👍

    This Panasonic Technics A800 has very good sound and ANC and it's general volume and bass volume is much stronger and powerfull compared to Sony MX4 or Bose QC45. But to listen my favorite music genre electronic music and techno i prefer to use the Panasonic RB-M700B because they have somethning the A800 and other expensive head phones on the market does not have at the moment: A Bass reactor vibration system ! I really love the bass reactor vibration system very very very much !!!! It feels like you have a 2.1 subwoofer hifi system. Panasonic Technics A800, Sony MX4, Bose QC45 feels more like an 2.0 weak bass hifi system without any subwoofer. For a very very very noisy ambient or music without any bass (for example old music) the A800 is the best. So I change my headphones depending on the situation. I use public transportation and have a very noisy neighbor that is the reason I own the Technics A800 and the Bose QC45. But in general i enjoy music on my 3 pairs of Panasonic RB-M700B. I hope Panasonic will continue to offer and develop headphones with bass reactor vibration system because I can't listen to techno and electronic music on head phones without a bass reactor anymore. The sony Sony MDR-XB950N1 Extra Bass head phones from 2017 have a bass reactor vibration system (my first head phones i had with a bass vibration system) but the new Sony WHXB910NB Extra Bass from 2021 don't has a bass vibration system anymore imo.
