The way she throws her hands back at 0:16 🤤🤤🤤. The intro choreo of this song on this tour is always slightly different and I live for it. She is so intense with it. Iconic!!
I still can't get over how good she sounds live. She can still sing live and sound good but back then her voice was just so soulful and melodic and the way the soulfulness of her voice went along with the sound of the keyboard is just amazing. And with the choreography, she is so rhythmically in sync with the beat of the song. The beginning of this performance where she sings (How many nights) the first line and sings it in a different key every night, she sounds so freaking good and this tour easily had Janet's best vocals of her career.

Perfection to the core!! Such a different opening scene from the Rhythm Nation opening song Control. Dark stage and hard hitting dance moves, theme. Contrast to opening janet tour. I LOVE BOTH ❤️
my guess is there were 2 audio tracks layered in the original recording and they weren't properly synced, it was even more desynced before this so i did what i could editing
