when you call a screen, you'll see over player head "roll", you need to change that to "fade"... depends on what controller settings you are using, it's probably R2/R1... also, if you click with your left analog stick, you can change the side of screen...
Doing all that to win a game looks alot like work. I love 2k and punish myself every year but the shit stopped being fun to play online a long time ago. I gave up madden for 2k because I can't invest myself in 2 high stress sport games a year

Yea you gotta go to positional play calling and then hold the icon of the player you want a screen from

You can snatch back and then you get the boost other than that idk
Any stationary dribble move, then take a step without R2, then after that first step hold R2, should burst you forward.

I can’t hop step on next gen for whatever reason it’s suppose to be the same way. I go back to current gen and I hop step like a pro.
Try doing spin layups/dunks on next gen. Don’t spin directly into defenders in the paint you’ll lose the ball but it’s still pretty op
It’s similar to 2k20 hop stops and you don’t have to go up after the spin you can stop completely and pass out
