Thank you very much for all your lessons. The way you analyze every little detail from them is wonderful, clever and very interesting. I appreciate it so much. 🙏🏻
Having grown up listening to Beatles songs a gazillion times and often singing them over the records, I've learned all those things subconsciously, without even noticing them.
Your breakdown is brilliant. I’ve played and sung this song for 40 yrs without analyzing the subtleties of the performance. Thanks to you and JWL for this gift.
This is probably one of Lennons greatest songs. When you really listen to his vocals you can actually hear the flem in his vocal chords which makes his singing even more expressive.
Although I know this song by heart, never had I noticed that there were so many subtleties to the way Lennon sings. Ci sono tantissime cose! Amazing work and great video as always! Grazie mille!
Galleazo, not only are you an expert on Beatles vocal techniques and instrumental techniques, you have a comprehension of what each song meant to each of them. This is absolutely amazing. I'm one of your biggest fans and I know I've said it before, you should get your arse to the Cavern Club Liverpool and do a gig. It would be a sell-out. I'm going there on the 19th June to celebrate Paul's 80th with Tony Coburn. £20 a ticket and Tony is amazing too. No disrespect to Tony but I would pay double that to see you. Keep up the amazing work. Thank you x
Thank you so much. You have truly reminded me of why I was so absorbed by John Lennon growing up. Your passion is truly inspiring and it is obvious in your ability to exactly nail his vocal .
I’m speechless, really. Thank you so very much. You have given amazing insight and opened new perspectives on such a wonderful song and vocal performance. Anyone who loves the Beatles as much as you clearly do is equally clearly a wonderful human being
Dear Galeazzo, In the fall of 1965 I was ten years old and the album Help! was the first LP I owned. So this song - one of the highlights of the record - has been with me for more than 56 years. After a couple of decades one thinks one has heard all of the nuances that are in there. Wrong! Tonight, watching (listening to) this new video of yours I got some five or six new insights in what John was doing here. The part in the end about the procunciation in particular! Never realised John was singing 'Ah' instead of 'I'. And left out the r's. And so on. Thank you so much for all the inspiring and instructive videos you produce. Joris de Baat, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
After watching Get Back, I appreciate John's work more than ever. His vcocals on the recorded versions of songs like this and others are fantastic compared to so much of his work in the documentary, where he is just goofing around. When jamming, his vocie doesn't sound that good, because he's not serious. But when it's showtime, he goes next level. That's pretty awesome.
Thank you very much for this video. I think this is the golden period for his voice, when it sounded the best, from Beatles For Sale to Revolver. So it's very interesting how he managed to make his voice sound so beautiful.
Thank you for a superb insight into, not only John’s vocal techniques, but also vocal techniques in general ! Thanks again and looking forward to the next one … 🙏🏼
Because I grew up listening to my own Beatles records that I had from family whom some were in the music business. But I was also a huge fan of the movie Help. And I just kind of as you do mimicked his voice. And so I was learning all the voice mannerisms kind of naturally at the same time as I was learning to read and write. That nasally voice on this track in particular as a 5 - 6 year old who would watch the Film Help religiously Hide your Love away REALLY blew my tiny mind. And the nasally voice John does for this track was what I loved about it. Oh and Frudua I will have to rewatch your Strat set up videos and relearn how to do all that again, so thanks for this, and thanks again for doing those older Guitar set up videos too. Merry Christmas to you all.
Hello Mr. G in the video 😁 I'm not a singer... just a Lennon fan since I was little, which led me to the Beatles. Since last year I have been in a karaoke app and, just there, I discovered the harmonies. Trying to understand and learn is that I came to you. His work is fascinating to me; every video is amazing. I really admire you... I send my greetings and congratulations from Uruguay to wherever you are. 😂🤗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Galeazzo, thank you a lot, this is a top level content. Hope you will do more videos about how to sing solo vocal parts of Beatles songs. It is extremely helpfull for amature singers. Your explanations give really a lot and are amazing. Cheers from Russia.
Frudua can imitate the tambre of Paul’s voice better than John, but it sounds as if you placed him into John’s vocal cords he’d sound identical. I love the false cord rasp he gets throughout this video
it helps to imagine "acting". Get yourself in that emotional state and how would you express the words when feeling that way with the words your expressing
Bravissimo! Ho sempre amato questa canzone. Temevo di averti perso.Sono lietissima di averti ritrovato con questa meravigliosa analisi di come cantava John! Tante belle cose.
nicely explained. I've been a beatles fan since the early 60s. I didn't know the band until the 70s. I just realized, eventually, the songs i liked the best, were all done by the beatles. your channel enlightens me, to how I was attracted to their music. thanks for the posts!
Great video! About the r sound in 'here': you're correct that John doesn't pronounce the r in 'here' his accent. However, in this example he is pronouncing it a bit, but as an 'intrusive r' (which is typical of English accents). This happens because there is a word starting with a vowel after 'here'. Another example of the intrusive r is in the lyric 'I saw a film today oh boy' which John pronounces as 'I sawr a film'.
I love your videos ! Always get excited when I see you've made a new one, they give me a new insight into the tracks I love so much And your scouse accent is improving all the time ! Keep up the great work.
John may have been one of the best singers ever, at least in the Beatles' earlier years. He might not have had the range of a McCartney or a Daltrey, but you believed everything he said. The emotions were real.
The ‘got to’ part sang as gotta ! And this is sightless unusual as people from Liverpool would pronounce’ got to as ‘gorra’ Cilla Black used to lay it on very thick saying Gorra when on TV!
Hey! Not sure if you'll see this. I'm a longtime fan and subscriber to your work and you've helped me so much covering Beatles and other harmonies correctly for a very long time now. Anyhow, if there's any off chance you could, I've been pretty interested in Shambala by Three Dog Night and a friend of mine wants to sing lead on this track live. I'm not entirely sure I'm nailing the upper harmony part in this song and I'm feeling rather stumped. Is there any tips you could give on this particular track? And thank you again for being so helpful all this time!

Lennon really has nice dynamic in his singing, that’s why he is so charming
Great observations and analysis. John’s voice was so expressive and melodious.
Having grown up listening to Beatles songs a gazillion times and often singing them over the records, I've learned all those things subconsciously, without even noticing them.

I’ve been listening to this song for over 50 years and you helped me hear so many new things in it, today! Sorprendente!!
This vocal performance by John Lennon is, in my opinion, one of the best and most effective in all modern music.
I agree
This is probably one of Lennons greatest songs. When you really listen to his vocals you can actually hear the flem in his vocal chords which makes his singing even more expressive.
my sinuses make a river of snot at 7 every morning if u ever fancy a listen
You sound almost exactly like him. Amazing.
Although I know this song by heart, never had I noticed that there were so many subtleties to the way Lennon sings. Ci sono tantissime cose! Amazing work and great video as always! Grazie mille!

Thank you! Great lesson. John had so much honesty in his voice it never felt contrived.
Thank you so much. You have truly reminded me of why I was so absorbed by John Lennon growing up. Your passion is truly inspiring and it is obvious in your ability to exactly nail his vocal .
John had one of the best rock voices ever!
Great video! There is so much soul and feeling in John's vocals.
The detail in your analysis is again amazing. Thank you so much for the insights and teaching us how to listen!
I’m speechless, really. Thank you so very much. You have given amazing insight and opened new perspectives on such a wonderful song and vocal performance. Anyone who loves the Beatles as much as you clearly do is equally clearly a wonderful human being
Even as a non-singer, I enjoy your videos very much.
I haven’t watched one of your videos in awhile… and wow! The production value is really really good 👍🏼

Thanks!! I was singing that in my car today and thinking how great are these vocals.
It's really amazing, Gale! Bravo! You reproduce 100% emotions of JL, like no one else can! It's magic))
You're incredible Galeazzo. This vid isn't about imitation, there's a richness to your teaching. Thank you
Thank you Galeazzo for your insight!! Your videos really help me understand the Beatles and learn the harmonies! Saved my day ✨

As an old "rock" singer, I find our Italian teacher (Galeazzo) most adept at pronunciation and dynamics!
Ciao signor (sono Francese), I would like to thankbyoubforbyoir work. You learn me how to sing chorus. Love your work !
Brilliant thanks. To Know Her Is To Love Her would make a great isolated vocal, as it's one of their most complicated early covers
Grande Galeazzo.... ottimo...!
AMAZING as Always!
Very cool ! I imagine a video about Happiness is a warm gun could last up to an hour thinking about all the parts in it lol

You've outdone yourself, GF. Simply brilliant. "Common mortals", heh!!
;)
I believe, John Lennon had the most unique, emotional and beautiful voice. And he didin't even like his voice! RIP. 🙏
This is awesome!

Great tutorial and uplifting. I loved it, thank you.

I've been in love with when I'm sixty four harmonies recently. I would love you to showcase this one so I could see try to make them myself:)☮️❤️

Notice also that in the “gather ‘round all you clowns” there is a sigh or laugh at the word “clowns” 16:52 😊
The ‘got to’ part sang as gotta !
