This movie is awesome, I think its possibly the best Transformer movie and its a Transformers movie that people like me always asked for. A movie about Transformers and Cybertron and having an orgin story is a clever idea. Im tired of the Bay movies being too busy with too many explosions and its hard to keep track with the action, too inconsistent with story and character development and silly sterotypes that not only makes no sense but can be considered offensive and has no place in being there. And im tired of Earth being the setting and the human characters eating screen times. I want to know about the robots themselves im bored with the humans and im tired of humans in the movies being stupid. Making it animated is a breath of fresh air, I knew I should give a movie like this a chance like I did with Spider-Verse and I did not regret it. Only flaw I have with this movie is that I wish it was a bit longer and that extra time could be spent on D16/Megatron development since it felt a bit rushed but other than that, this is really good. I felt invested for the first time and I felt something out of it. I want a sequal out of this and im worried about its numbers at the box office and this is want I want out of this franchise.
We can be optimistic! Currently the movie is up about $45 million and the reviews are pretty good. There’s also outlines not just for a sequel, but a trilogy. We’ll probably get another move and we’ll get to see a battle for Cybertron 👀 (no humans)
I have been in the camp of Michael Bay´s Transformers are only action no substance it´s wierd to actually hear the opinion from people who grew up with them and favor elements in them. But hey that´s the thing. Loved this movie, I can´t understand why people are not going to see it. It´s not a bad time of the year, Transformers should draw in families atleast. And it´s not like Transformers are not relevent with all thier cartoons still coming out.
Both iterations are pretty good! There are things to like about Michael Bay’s live action films. The realism and voice acting of the transformers, the action, Shia LeBeouf’s quirky character Sam Witwicky. Transformers One, though fun and has great reviews, does seem to be geared towards a younger audience. There’s also other factors like timing of release, competition from other movies, and of course price. Going to the movies gets expensive real quick escpecially with bigger families. Fun fact Michael Bay is attached to Transformers One as a Producer as he is with every other Transformers movie 👀 - Captain Caine
@@TheFandomnautsOdyssey Yeah the argument for price is a factor or atleast it makes people more picky what they go to see. But funny enough, going to the movies is more cheap than other more common things you can do like eating dinner with your family is way more expensive unless you go to a junkfood place. Oh well enough of that. I think the marketing aimed at children 7-10 but the final movie was more made for 11-15 I think in it´s mature tone. Maybe sadly that´s why families did´t go, they thought it looked or heard about it being more violent than they liked so they did´t want to see that. And drama dose´t sell for movie goers nowdays. Sucks.
