The woman soon realizes that he is a detective on a case, so she does everything in her power to get out of going to jail. 1:15
This includes even attempting murder again, but Will is too smart for her and figures out what she's trying to do in time. 3:06
Thus, at the end, you see him walking out and letting the cops in...they have handcuffs and she tries to run. 3:53
