I bet if you go to the authorities & explain that you have an adopted child, & that you provide a safe & loving home for him, they will come & see that you are a very good, nurturing mother. If you really wanted to, you should tell your ex-husband that if he loves you the way he says he does, he will make things right by giving Co back to you, & admitting he was wrong to strip him from his mother. The only thing, tho, is that he's probably getting a good education in the boarding school & learning to be discaplined. At least you two could arrange to be civil for the sake of the children, but that's all it can be. You no longer have feelings for him at all, & those are your conditions, take it or leave it. And that he is not permitted to come to your home or on your property unannounced, or you will have him arrested for trespassing & harassment. And he is not permitted to interfere with your life. One thing you should do, no questions asked, is go to the police & report your accident & who did it. It was premeditated & the wife also threatened & slandered you. If you go to the hospital you will have the medical report to prove your injuries. She broke the law. Please don't let her get away with it.

Duyen, you amazed me having a consistent attitude towards your ex husband. Having an evil mother like your ex husband's mother just shows you what type of character she instilled by him. Stuborn and arrogant. I don't think that you are rid of him so quickly he is too stupid to take no for an answer. If his ex wife and his mother harass you from now on forward you need to lay a complaint by the police, they will not rest until they are rid of you. His evil mother is another mother in law type who is still in jail. Maybe your ex's mother will also get hoodlums to harm you just like your father's wife - I fear for your life with that family.
