The other tip I saw on Pinterest was add a button underneath which gives a 3D illusion to the back of head. Love your videos they’re wonderful and easy to follow 💕 keep it up!

What is the material of the embroidery thread? I couldn't curl well with cotton.

It is regular 6 stranded cotton embroidery floss. If you pull the scissors quicker, it will make a tighter curl. Pulling slowly makes a bigger wave.
