@VGMnerds That's a problem because if the spectator should choose a 9 or 10 as one of his spot cards then it messes up the shuffles. With 12 cards in each pile you will always peel off between 2 and 10 cards and keep the shuffles looking consistant and random.
Spectator: I wanna pick the aces

Awesome trick. As a side note, While I"m explaining to the spectator that he has to start dealing cards one by one to make piles, after I put down the aces as I'm showing the spectator what to do,....I then hand him the remaining cards so they can make the piles and I also tell them they can shuffle or cut the cards as many times as they want! Great effect!

that is a very simple trick but will still always get people. i love it
By adding 4 kings after the 4 aces before you start and instead of counting to 12 during
each shuffle, count to 11, the cards that were aces are now 4 kings and then you
can turn over the top card on the 4 piles and get the 4 aces

Thanks for posting that trick. I have 2 suggestions: First, when the two is forced, it should be the 2 of SPADES (because it was stated earlier in the trick that Spades are the "leader" cards, and in fact, the Ace of Spades and King of Spades were stated to be the leaders of the aces and kings, respectively. Second, I think it is a stronger effect at the end to first wave the 2 over the packet which they believe (from the very beginning) contains aces, and change those "aces" into twos, and THEN wave the ace of spades over the packet that they believe contains three random cards of their own choosing, changing those three random cards into aces. Just my opinion.

I made a variation of it. I remember that trick you made about "impressing the ladies", then i used the queens instead of aces then i told them that the ladies can't get enough by just one trick :D

Well there are lots of tricks that don't need any preparation. You can force the spectator to pick up a card you know, or you force their card to the top of the deck etc.. You can use a "key" card for example the bottom card and so on. I still find these pre set tricks much more enterntaining.

This would be really awesome if you presented it as a 'deck memory' effect, wherein you 'remember' the location of the four aces and do some false shuffles to 'set it up'.
@OukaKisa I had someone call out "Ace", but I came up with the perfect response on the spot. I said "It has to be a spot card, the Ace is not a spot card", it was kinda strange after that because the four aces "magically" appeared, so what I do now to avoid the whole situation is basically just use the four queens or four kings. Works great.

I made a slight tweek to the trick, I told them to pick any 4 cards, and simply stated that face cards count as ten, Giving a greater illusion of free choice.

Oooh, I like this! The only thing that is beyond my abilities is to shuffle the deck in the beginning but without the four top cards...

Like Jay and I said, they must pick spot cards, which are the numbered cards. So they can't pick an ace, king, jack or queen.

The only problem with this trick is that while your going through the deck, having them pick 4 cards, they might notice that none of the aces appear.

it helps to keep the aces on top if you keep the cards without the aces down to a minimum!

I love the Deck
Ok so if you start with a royal flush (10 through to Ace of same suit) on top and count out three piles of 9 and two piles of 10 (instead of the four of 12) and as long as you remember the last two piles you put cards onto you have to take the number away from ten and the first three piles take the number away from nine youll end up giving the spectator a royal flush instead of four aces!
my fav deck looks almost exactly like yours
instead of multitasking by taking away numbers just count on. e.g when u shuffle and they choose an 8 just count on untill u get to 12

They can't because they can only name spot cards, which are the numbered cards. Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces cannot be picked.
