You could after result is shown using time make a plane or rectangle with texture or text appear on Canvas with a reset to essentially reset the timer so condition is no longer met and randomiser restarts

Did you select the arrow icon next to visible on these planes? Puples are inputs, yellow outputs. Anything with a small arrow next to can be modified in patch editor

This will be to do with how planes deal with png images, if depth test is on it will essentially 'subtract'elements behind it. Try selecting the quiz png material and toggling depth test off under advanced render options

Hello! I have a question. I want to do a: who are you? Like in your video, but with one attached. I want to add a mask to the answer. What I did was create images that had the mask and response together and then put them on a 0 plane and it worked for me. But I would like the masks to be random in the face mesh, since in plane 0 they don't look as good. Do you know if there is any way to connect the answers? I mean, for example, if so: what color are you? , and the answer is yellow, can you connect to the mesh of the face so that a yellow mask comes out? Thank you very much for the tutorial and regards.
You can try adjusting the compression settings under Project properties, adjust compression on image textures and making sure images are as small and optimised as possible. Its no use having an image for example that 3000 pixels wide when most phones barely reach 720px. Once done you may also need to save, close and reopen for compression to take effect
The Random Image Effect tutorials are great. Would love another 'going further' regarding adding colour filters/LUTs to the Random Image filter.... because everytime I try to include both, it doesn't work (random image cards disappear)

Using a conditional check such as an AND with a check that says if A = true and b= true then show C. Maybe using a wait or delay may help, sorry been away for a while so JUST catching up and trting to refresh my brain thinking back

Link particle emitter to offset equals (end) trigger at start so emitter starts at same time and randomiser finishes you can also set emitter particle texture to change depening on value in same way as answer does. You can delay the emitter by adding a delay between offset equals exactly and emitter visible / play

The randomiser generates a random value that is equal to a frame in the sequence so you can from the round patch that connects to the animation sequence add a equals exactly to an audio player so for example. If value = 1 > equals exactly 1 > audio player (play). You would need to add different equals patches for each audio file and corresponding image that would appear. If this makes sense if not I can cover it in a dedicated audio video
It's a great tutorial, I followed all the steps and the effect was spectacular. The only problem is that I upload it to the Spark Hub to post it on Instagram, I open the link to test the effect and nothing appears, I can't even take a picture or record a video, what's the problem? I have already tried to upload it to another account, make the file less heavy, open the link on other devices, etc., and nothing works.

Hey, awesome tutorial! I have a quick question regarding the quiz filters. I and creating one from scratch currently. I really would like to add a smoke effect at the end of the filter. Basically, the idea is music-related. Which musical instrument are you? There are 20 instruments and when the randomizer chooses one I would like to add smoke or firework effect. Is this possible?
If its one smoke effect regardless of answer you could use a greater than 0 and looped AND check attached to Emitter or animation sequence of smoke effect
Adjust comoression settings within spark if you cant compress image sizes anymore externally. You can adjust compression setting in spark via edit properties (once done you may need to save, close and relaunch program)

Thank you for this awesome video. I was able to get the randomizer filter created but I'd like audio to play once the result pops up. How would you get the audio to start playing as soon as the randomizer stops? I already managed to import the audio (used a mono track and trimmed it to 8 seconds long). It can be done via Canvas HOWEVER it would likely be rejected as unless effect has a trigger such as face or target tracker it COULD be seen as static thus rejected

For some reason, I've set the 'patch editor' up the same way you have, but the randomizer doesn't start when i start recording the video. i have to do a separate tap to initiate the randomizing after it starts recording. is there a way to modify things so it starts randomizing immediately?

After adding the face tracker, when I add plane, I don't see it. Why is that? It doesn't show up under the face tracker, like it does in this video
Hi, I only want to output one image (that I have selected) at the end, is there a way of selecting one and having that appear after the animation ends instead of it being a random image?
There is a follow up video that explains how to do a fake randomiser but essentially use animation patch instead and ensure last frame / image is desired end result and double or triple frames.

I have a quick question regarding the quiz filters. I and creating one from scratch currently. I really would like to add a smoke effect at the end of the filter. Basically, the idea is music-related. Which musical instrument are you? There are 20 instruments and when the randomizer chooses one I would like to add smoke or firework effect. Is this possible?
If its one smoke effect regardless of answer you could use a greater than 0 and looped AND check attached to Emitter or animation sequence of smoke effect

It makes 6Mb files even though the folder with the pictures weights only 1.5Mb.
What can I do to reduce the final effect size ( at least down to 4Mb)?
Adjust comoression settings within spark if you cant compress image sizes anymore externally. You can adjust compression setting in spark via edit properties (once done you may need to save, close and relaunch program)

Hi, great tutorial! Just wanted to ask, if let's say u wanted to make another layer visible after the random choice has been selected, that's related to the choice chosen (e.g. option A will trigger option 1 correspondingly) , how would u go about doing that? Thanks in advance!
You would use the setup in using playing random audio video on this channel then swap audio player e.t.c. with visibility of objects

Thank you for this awesome video. I was able to get the randomizer filter created but I'd like audio to play once the result pops up. How would you get the audio to start playing as soon as the randomizer stops? I already managed to import the audio (used a mono track and trimmed it to 8 seconds long). I created a playback controller but I can't seem to get it to link to the Loop Animation thing as you mention in your video. Thanks ahead of time!
If its only one audio file could try linking it to the less than patch? Audio is a pain with spark

It can be done via Canvas HOWEVER it would likely be rejected as unless effect has a trigger such as face or target tracker it COULD be seen as static thus rejected

Spark cant tell gender / user bu5 you could maybe have a NativeUI menu

For some reason, I've set the 'patch editor' up the same way you have, but the randomizer doesn't start when i start recording the video. i have to do a separate tap to initiate the randomizing after it starts recording. is there a way to modify things so it starts randomizing immediately?

Adding a delay after screen recording press can keep questions on screen and be used to offset times between questions with more work

Adjust the timer speed, on animation sequence enable random and ensure the random values cover all the frames i.e. 29 if 30 images for example
