I’ll say it again- your first video solidified me getting the Coussin that I already was obsessing over. I’m happy that I waited a few months because they ended up coming out with the bb size. The best part about it is that it came out with a leather strap that you can snap in different ways for different lengths. It’s become my daily grocery store, shopping bag with added bonus of versatility for evening wear as well with the chain. Love your videos!
Yes in my next video I’m going to talk about the BB! I love the PM but if I were buying one today I think it would be the BB for the leather strap it also still looks roomy enough!
Im so glad to see someone finally put a more detailed analysis of the lambskin wear over time. Im so glad to finally know that Louis Vuitton lambskin is much more durable than chanel lamsbkin. as a CA ive sold many coussins over a year and i havent received any complaints yet so far about the leather. I think after so much use, just like any leather it will "breathe" and seem more worn, but honestly, it doesnt look as dead as i thought, i think its added more character to the bag. Im also glad to see that the chain hasnt tarnished yet. Ive had some worries from clients about the chain that it might tarnish, but since its an alumimium based chain, it shouldnt tarnish but i havent seen any longer term wear and tear comparisons about the chain to confirm my hypothesis.
Just came across your channel. Love your detailed videos on the Coussin bag. I recently purchased the Taupe color Coussin while in Rome. Such a huge savings over the USA price. Friend of mine purchased this bag in Paris back in March - 2900 euros. It’s increased 600 euros in that short period of time. Insane.

I love the black but that is because I mostly wear black so it was a great basic for me. I do usually gravatate towards more fun bags though so I have been tempted by a few of the more fun ones like bright pink, and then there was a black patent one with white LVs and a red chain, but one I recently really wanted was all black with these bigger crystals/stones on it basically a more fun dressed up black. But so far I just still have the basic black.
Rachel, I appreciate that you went over the pros and cons...I personally do not like middle pockets in bags...as you said the space would fit so much more...I love the LV deep prints on the bag... I don’t like the look of those straps on certain LV bags... I do believe the strap is perfect on your bag...thank you for sharing 🙏🤩🦄❤️

I wanted to also let you know that I have the monogram adjustable version strap..even though I love mine, the one thing that really bothers me is that the adjustment snaps always pull my hair out:/ my hair is as long as yours so I wanted to let you know so you can also make an informed decision. I think if I had to do it again, I’d buy the non-adjustable version🤗
That is such great info!! There are not a lot of reviews on the straps online and something about the snaps was stopping me! I need to go see if they have anything in store I can see in person. They really need to start releasing more straps since a lot of their bags have removable options now!
I’ve been waiting for this!! Great review! I agree a new Coussins is definitely more shiny especially in the embossing, but understandable that it would lose its luster after much wear. Still looks good for an everyday leather bag. For me I would want it to keep its luster so I wouldn’t wear it as much. I think it s a beautiful bag but still on the fence about it bc it’s so pricey now. Looking forward to your other videos.

I think it’s defiantly part of the wear and tear when I compare to photos/videos when I first got it! And/or mine is def part of the first batch so not sure if they’ve made improvements or material changes?
