I personally think showing completions is a double edged sword in many ways. On one end, you alienate people who do want to see the full completion of a level, but on the other end, it also messes with your average watch duration as a lot of people do tend to skip over a level they have seen multiple times before, and would much rather just watch the commentary. You will always disappoint some taking away the completion, but it will probably be overall beneficial for statistics and performance of a video

Can confirm! I’ve personally gotten into a different game (Osu Mania) recently, and while this is slightly offtopic I think it’s a good example. I basically found these “improvement batches” which serve to give you smooth progression throughout the 2-5 star range. I’ve beaten 3 of the 11 batches so far and they ultimately make the game wayy more fun because there’s always something you feel like you’re working towards instead of aimlessly searching for maps! I think the GDDP would have a similar effect for sure, streamlining progression for players of various tiers! I’ve personally had some turbulence with staying motivated at times so I hope this releases soon.

I agree with the completion thing. I think for harder levels, you should show it because it's a greater accomplishment and you most likely will just have that level for the video anyways, but for easy demons, most people can just play them on their own if they want to see them.
Tride I have a great suggestion. My suggestion is that you try to beat some of the toastloard levels as they are AMAZING, it’s the guy that made red haze btw
the idea of the website is so creative, it is motivative for players to play some of these demons newcomers won't have as much of a problem at finding easier demons to play and will always give them a challenge after they finish one also most of the ones i've seen aren't crappy ones like the nightmare or the lightning road
Cobalt Ruins was my first ever weekly demon, as i first looked into online stuff i didn't know i could skip it. After 1 and a half year i remembered it and beat it. Banger level!
I feel like the whole having to submit certain demons thing will be annoying for people who don't make gd videos, either that or people who don't record EVERY demon completion, that's just me though and my hardest is apparently a medium lol.
tbh i like it when you dont show the full completion if you cut highlight from that level in the video maybe you can do in the future a video where you go swag routes in levels would be maybe cool.The backround music at 11:54 was pretty loud idk was that on purpose? Also i like these random bits like the one clip at 14:56 is always surprising and refreshing to see :) But overall great video
I feel like fast-paced medium demons are fun as hell and make you look badass. We need more of them, we have enough auto 2-star levels lets get actual fun levels.
The GDDP is literally the main reason why I didnt stop playing after like 2 Insane Demons (while I now have just achieved the amber rank and 4/8 platinum demons)
I don't like the fact we have to share a video completion for the harder level, I currently use an Excel sheet to track the levels I completed and it looks like I will continue to use it. A bit disappointed here.
Scarlet Smog, the sequel to Red Haze, is just as good, and I would highly recommend it. You should also play Metal Test by overdefo, which has similar gameplay.
This website will be super useful. I always find myself looking up levels that I've already beaten like 80% of the time so it'll be nice to actually have a checklist. I'm curious as to how the video submission thing will work for demons that we have already beaten but never recorded. I assume we will have to rebeat them? If so that sounds fine but there are levels out there that I'm sure people have had unpleasant experiences with wish to not play them again. I know I have a few lmao.
if you're not in the server there won't be any checks on submission, and your profile won't be public on the site you can just use it as a personal checklist
