    Wow, Thank you so so much, coming across your page has really opened my mind and brought some great memories back of when we visit my village, as an inquisitive kid, I always say my late grandfather do this everything we go into his house, the man lived till his 90s, healthy, always respected among everyone, now it all makes sense, my only question is why we choose something that was never working over something that has already been tested and proven by our accentors and our CHI? It still baffles me today, you can not even have a decent conversation with educated folks these days without being called the devil or witch, or given that famous quote,I will pray for you to be delivered, From what? Ignorance?

      Acculturation is a strong force. Meanwhile, the developed Western nations are all Christians while the supposed undeveloped nations are black nations. So, it is easy for educated Africans to tie backwardness to paganism. What our ancestors needed was just more insight towards Science not religion or culture. They had a solid culture and religion. Unfortunately, we their offsprings have thrown away the baby with the bath water.

      Oja is a mystical Igbo musical instrument used to lift the spirit of men in special situations like war. It is also used for entertainment and praise singing. It has its own unique language mainly known to initiates.
      Most great Oja players are born to to do it. It is not really an art to learn. This does not mean that one desirous to learn it cannot learn it with concerted effort.

      When the preferable is not available the available becomes the preferable. This journey is about consistency. Once the spirits you desire see you are serious and consistent they will start guiding you on how to get it right. One on one interaction with unseen beings is the beginning of pure spiritual pursuit. And this comes with consistency and zeal to know the truth.

    Is one musical instrument enough for summoning the spirit or do we need the two?

    • @Ezeikolomuo
      @Ezeikolomuo  2 года назад +1

      Yes. However, some use one instrument for certain spirit or deity and use another instrument for another deity. Once you start connecting to these forces the preferences in instruments will develop. Some forces do not even want instruments.
      But basically, instrument is used to charge the atmosphere during veneration.
