It's not hard to believe. My dad's sperm donor was an evil man. Yet despite the abuse my dad went through, my dad always tried to get his approval up to that a-hole's death. Sometimes it's just a trauma thing
Easy to say when it’s not your own mother who didn’t believe you. My mom was SA by her uncle as a child and her mother blamed her for it. My mom didn’t tell anyone else. My grandmother was a terrible person. No tears were shed when she finally died.
So, the mother wonders what happened to"the sweet girl who saw the good in everyone" well, her mother stomped all of that out of her in one brutal action. That girl was SA'd, then her own mother called her a wh*re, threw her out of the house, and denied her even the chance to say goodbye to her dying sister, didn't she hear about it? Oh right, of course she did. It was her. Honestly, even a second chance was more chances than she deserved.
Sooo, this girl just isn't allowed to catch a break, I'd just find a way to accidentally let slip to the gf what her bf did to op and what he said to his own daughters
He probably already spun the "some crazy slut accused me of rape after we slept together" story on his gf if he ever had to explain his criminal history or even right after the meeting considering the child support topic would be coming up :(
@TheCodeHunter before they allowed mass migration fromthe middle east, "let them in!" Hippy bs policy : one of the world's safest countries After that: one of the world's "grape" capitals, no go zones, and so many grenade attacks, wikipedia has a page dedicated to them, which is largely incomplete. Some police stations have been retrofitted to become literal concrete fortresses to make THE POLICE feel safe
How the fuck is he even out of prison? How the hell do some countries deal with brutal rapes is crazy, minimum 15 to 20 years prison and if theyre under 18 then at least 40 years and possible death sentence
Oh I guess it's really great in the west where a woman can claim SA with no proof and ruin a mans life. Love your country I hope you don't end up in death row because a crazy woman accused you of SA.
Look up Cho Doo Soon, he’s the assaulter of an 8 year old girl, he was sentenced 12 years in prison and was even allowed to live in the same neighborhood he used to, aka the victim’s neighbor, once he got out. Now some may think this is long but the girl was left permanently disabled and told she would have to use a colostomy bag for the rest of her life until a kind doctor offered her family to give her a surgery for an artificial anus, thankfully it was successful; she’s known as Na-Young in the media as she or her family didn’t want to be known to the public. You can look into it, but lots of places actually have very little laws, or at least well implemented ones, in place for victims of SA, it’s heartbreaking.
I think if you're not familiar with Asian culture, you're not gonna understand why the children of immigrants struggle like they do They're extremely demanding and hold you to a ridiculously high standard that they won't hold themselves to. Constant comparisons and there's no in-between of success and failure. It's one of the other. You CANNOT be in the middle somewhere. A lot of us suffer mental health issues because of our parents. No encouragement, no "hey get up. You can do it. I believe in you" Zero. And it's not just a few people. It's ingrained into the culture. I'm not surprised at the way the mother reacted
I think the bigger issue is more the fact that their standards are outdated, and that to ensure their children know the culture they come from they overcompensate and go overboard. They hold on to the culture and standards they had before they left. This means they are usually extremely outdated, and would not hold true in today's world. If they went back they would be horrified how every is acting/dressing nowadays. If any parent expected their child to behave and act the way they did in their own youth decades ago, there would be clashes. Add on top the cultural differences, and it's a recipe for disaster.
My question is why are a lot of them even bothering to entertain the idea of letting them back into their lives and not have a spine, that’s just a coward. Another OP had demanding parents and he put them in their place immediately when they tried something scummy. If they’re kicking and screaming because they want to be let back in that’s their fault and they can’t pretend to be a victim for their lack of responsibility. You also put them in their place whenever they try stuff on you and always make sure you have leverage since they’d do the same anyway if they had leverage.
In china grades and scores mean life and death and social standing. I remember my mom telling me that in her day only 3 out of 300 can go to college or university where you can get high position. This was still a thing until the 1990s
Story 1, Your mother is a drunk, it's not your fault, it's not your responsibility to help her,all promises are false. If she wants to be in your life then she needs to be clean and sober for a minimum 2 years, make proper apologies including exact examples of what she did and how she regrets those actions and agree to live within the boundaries you set.
Why the hell were OP’s children allowed to talk to their bio-father in person? I also don’t like the implication that, if he was polite to them, they would have tried to have a relationship with him.
I had a similar experience Michigan in the states I won't say where but public schools suck after PE when I went to the shower they held me down & ripped a handful of pubic hair out it bled they were mad because I had boobs and was grow up busty and curvy the school did nothing they didn't even inform my parents tell me to keep my mouth shut because I was just causing trouble and I bring it up on myself.
Story 1 I know you said that you did not want to have any advice about the dress but if your mother stepmother or whatever it is does dresses and can do it really good like a seamstress you can reverse engineer the dress making it out of a pattern from the dress itself basically you trace the pieces of the dress and then use them to cut New pieces and remake it if you want to overcome this you need to do this together with your family it might help. Or it might trigger the crap out of you I've been through the same sort of things I was married to a man at15 I had my first child at 15 had three kids all together and the guy was abusive the last education opportunities and nobody cared to try to put me in therapy I had to do it myself I know what it feels like to be alone and I know that you can handle it and you can do it God never gives you more than you can take just enough to make it painful and suffering totally sucks sorry for your drama but at least you have an opportunity to have children and a good life now even with the baggage
Im 3 mins in and confused af. She keeps mentioning "sisters" but said that one of them died before OP reconnected with her mum. She's a triplet, so if one died there would only be one other left apart from her.
People PLEASE make up names if you don't want to use real names. It gets so tiring to hear "MIL, BIL SIL FIL, NC, LC, SS, SB, etc". Just make up a name.
Meeting your friend at the bridge was god . He sent that man there to stop op . He knew she was meant for more and wasnt ready for her . God is everywhere and the signs are present if we pay attention. Not forcing that on anyone btw just my belief.
I know that abortion is possible to 20 weeks and legal so I can't wrap my head around why she decided to keep children from such a traumatic time in her life and when she was so young, teenage pregnancy is not common in Sweden
I think she latched on to the children as a positive in a really horrible situation, also a lot of women don't like the idea of having an abortion (I believe it might actually be the majority of women, but I haven't seen the statistics in a while).
@@2XocraM Many women don't, many women would, and many women have changed their mind after getting pregnant under less than perfect circumstances, so I doubt there can ever be an accurate statistic, but I know, over the years, just anecdotally, that it has never been a majority of women who were anti-abortion.
Time to be hated by the internet. I dont really beileve story one. Something about the way it was written, it felt more like a novel than something terrible that happened. Maybe im a bad person for not beileving it.
@kingbeaner858 Part of that is because it isn't really a written post or "story" it's a series of posts updates and responses without the actual questions. It's like reading one side of a series of conversations about some events, but the ebenst and conversations both take place over years. Whether or not it is false, who knows, there are a lot of those on reddit, but it doesn't read like one of the AI generated ones.
@robertosborn9910 yea it reads like someone kept updating on reddit after the posts were taken down but someone redditor had them saved and opened a new page for them but the OP didn't know and made a new post again, but the person who created this was able to piece it together from all the posts
The disease that the Japanese/Swedish triplet changed DRAMATICALLY. Trust me, Juvenile Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis are VERY different diseases. Sweden also provides quite well for disabled people.....I actually lost count of all the dumb shite in this story
