I had a plastic/polymer chute on a machine I owned for 20 years and just sprayed it with silicone spray annually never had a problem with it. These claims of polymer chutes cracking are likely just snowblower manufacturer's marketing departments instilling fear in consumer's minds in an effort to up sell or justify price increases. Personally I do prefer a steel chute all things being equal but I wouldn't be too concerned about a polymer chute cracking in half unless something really heavy fell on it or it got runover.
Heated grips? Man, how cushy! That salt dropper is a sweet feature. Good price. Got to have good lights. Nice machines Del.
Pat THE LANDLORD Bennett well the men say their hands cold. Lol big baby's. Heated grips will help I hope. I never had issue with regular grips
Me either. When I'm working my hands stay nice & warm. The high winds get me though.
Pat THE LANDLORD Bennett well I think most problem is they buy cheap gloves.
LOL! You got to have good gloves!

Good Points. Most time when things break like that are not the snow blower but people around it or using it.
How is it loading and unloading from the bed of your truck and what type of ramps do you use?
Dom great question. I do quick video hard to explain in words. Not sure on brand and they are easy to load the way I set ramps up.
Ok thanks
Do you still use the cub cadet 3x 24 in snow blower and if so how is the performance?
