For those of you wondering where part 3 is:
Part 3 is coming along very well, and I can't wait to show you all what I've been working on.
Unfortunately the combination of higher ambition, more real world responsibilities, and burnout for a couple months after working every single day on part 2, has caused this next part to take a bit longer to get out, but everyone's kind words on this series has kept me motivated!
Bonus question: During the journey to the End, what's something you'd want to see the team encounter?

the fact that I'm finally coming across this master piece now
Lapis leaving through the portal after getting her wings evaporated is comedy gold, and Amethyst hugging the amethyst cluster was a nice touch, too! It's clear that the editing scope for this has surprassed the previous part and it really shows! You really did a great job, pal! Can't wait for part 3, but of course, take your time, there is no rush!

Losing the nether portal has always been the thing that happens to me in Minecraft mostly because when i go into the nether, the portal spawns in a very inconvenient, hard to locate area that's mostly out of reach to everyone.
That last part just made me go
"Pearl and Steven you're lucky the portal was out there in the open XD"
I would have made a Lodestone, set it near the Portal, and had a compass set to it!

i made a steven universe themed world in minecraft when i was 8 or something and i love thinking that this is how theyre doing
(even tho my minecraft game is a very old version on an xbox 360 that cant update due to not having xbox live lol, its last update was the spawn eggs)
this just came up in my recommended randomly and im genuinely amazed by how seamless the editing is. Like all the animations and dialogue chosen like. just fit together perfectly somehow

I love how everything the characters do are so accurate to their show selves like the battle scenes, amethyst hugging the clusters, lapis leaving, Jasper throwing Steven, and pearls freak outs. It seriously feels like it’s coming straight from the show and I can’t wait for part 3!

It's crazy how much effort is put into this series, not only does it have really clean and clever editing like at 3:21 but it gives us character interactions that we don't really get in the show, all while telling a really fun story! I almost forgot it was a meme, this could've been a cool episode in the show! Thanks Pure Guano for taking the time to make this masterpiece!

The thing that impresses me most is that you had to individually edit frames of the Gems like Jasper in order to give them their original designs! It must've been extra tough with someone like Amethyst who went through multiple forms throughout the show!
