To know which side the fuel cap is on the car , you should be able to see it on the console and an arrow on the fuel icon will show the direction, instead of looking on the side view mirrors...
To check which side the fuel lid is, you can see in instrument cluster beside fuel tank logo there’ll a arrow that indicates that fuel lid is on right side or left side.
You can actually see the diesel duct in cluster only. The petrol logo has an arrow pointing towards the right which means the duct is on the right side✌🏻
