Well this pick is kinda out there but I think Dr Bunsen and beaker is good with gizmo duck's disk because if you upgrade the disk to max stars, the beakers can absorb 80% of the damage taken by your heroes plus Bunsen can just keep on replacing the beakers so it's 80% reduced damage basically. Also just a little tip, get some characters that have a long intro thing because if it takes long enough, you could just have a beaker on the field before the battle starts
Try using the team i use, Rose(Ju)Jim(Ia)Sally(Ti)Joy(Ol)Megara(Sh)
Trust me, it works good.
