Good morning, Joe, Good to see you and the Muncher out and about. I hope you get that rear brake fixed soon; I hear that both brakes are preferred. It's been another blistering summer, AZ breaking records for days over 110 degrees again and again. Glad you had a safe and enjoyable trip to Wyoming, maybe there is a future for you there?

The jury is out on Wyoming, but I know there is deliberation happening.

Funny you should ask, I worked on surrounding the inner cardboard box with good protection inside another slightly bigger box. Now I can’t figure the best way to encapsulate the odd shaped transmission within the inner box. It has a main output shaft sticking out on side and pointed fragile ears on the corners of the unit. Not sure how to keep it light and yet solid enough for it not to move around. I worked on it last night in a sweltering garage.

@@JdilpkleRS seal it up in a plastic bag in a box and use expanding foam. Or … Ice chest better than box has internal padding, sturdier & one lid. Can be reused for trip back to Lund guy.
