No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk along an old disused railway track. Starting in Stockton Brook, going through the tunnel underneath the main road and following it towards Stoke-on-Trent. The line was opened in 1867 and was in use until 1988 connecting Leek to Stoke. Now nature reclaims the land. Do enjoy :)

About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I will mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to RUclips. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

Psssst Hey there...
I have a second RUclips channel. It is a bit different to what I do here. Feel free to check it out.
/ @mrshawster
These abandoned places, where as adults we very rarely go. I feel as though I'm rambling as a boy again. Keep exploring and sharing Dave.
Glad you enjoyed it Joe!
aku sangat suka jalan-jalan seperti ini alami dengan suara-suara angin dan burung
Senang mendengarnya! 😊
a lovely and engaging morning walk. derelict things are so very fascinating. thanks, dave!
It was indeed a good walk, slightly different to the usual.. 😊
Thanks for the walk I enjoyed it.. Nice to see the railway being reclaimed by nature. Too bad about the spots with all the litter, it would be nice if everyone was respectful.
Yeah, I really enjoy seeing anywhere getting reclaimed by nature! The litter is really unfortunate.. and it can get really bad in these forgotten places, would indeed be great if people could be respectful!
Good
Thank you, Dave. My sons got super excited about the twigs and rails. They imagined themselves being in a war or something. Haha.
I love all your videos.
Nice, that's great to hear! 😊
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! ❤🙏
This vid took us exploring! Super cool to walk a track!
Thank you Dave!
🦋
Glad you enjoyed it Becca and hope you had a wonderful Easter too! 😊
Oh my gosh Dave, this was super interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it Marie 😊
Wow, when you first started, I was thinking "this is a little bit extreme!" - I'm glad you weren't attacked by zombies. But then it opened up - amazing what's happened in just over 30 years.
did take a bit of courage to go into that tunnel, but I did do a thorough check of the whole area before I started filming, once past the canal its a fairly easy going path. 😊
Wow Amazing nature
this is frick awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it Sgitch :)
So beautiful
Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for visiting 😊
The first Human-Train : )
Dave, you could totally tag this one #abandoned and #urbanexploration + stuff like that. As always, thanks. We usually watch your "show" on Saturdays while eating breaking and playing solitaire.
Hmm never thought of using Hashtags, I'll look into it sometime, where would I put them, just in the description? Glad you are enjoying the content. Sounds like a good way to start a Saturday! 😊
In the description, yeah. It could widen your reach a bit on all videos. You have a nice style, it deserves more attention.
Urban exploring is no small community, in case you decide to do more.
Thank you, I shall go through my videos at some point and add a few hashtags :)
The next station is ghost town. Alight for the ghost train and haunted house 😂😂😂
Walking on a railway? Interesting.. Where is the place that you filmed this?
It is at Stockton Brook :)
Thank you very much kind gentleman 😊
Where is this location? Very interesting that the track hasn't been lifted?
Its near Stoke on Trent, there is a map in the description that shows exactly where, not sure why it was never lifted.
Dimana lokasi ini kawan
Stockton Brook, yang berhampiran dengan Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire
I like to figure out your path on Google Maps. This one took a while since the track is almost invisible from above.
Yeah, a very hidden spot! I too like to have a walk mapped out before I go film, I had a rough idea where it was, and It was easy to find via the canal, I only heard about the track due to a random RUclips video I watched sometime last year.
I hate graffiti, it just ruins what these people built so long ago.
Indeed it does. Weird that people with sometimes amazing art skills willingly choose to waste there talent to simply vandalise and ruin nature. It's a mentality I can't fathom.
