Dhooparati :
In Hinduism aratis are performed at various timebands throughout the day. The day starts from kakadarati which wakes up the deity with love & warmth as we treat a small baby. Post snana (bathing ritual) & morning Pooja is offered to deity, devotees perform dhooparati. It is also known as madhyanh arati as it generally happens during noon time around 11 am to 12 in the noon. The bhakti-rasa of this aarati is specifically molded in a such a way that it freshens, welcomes, praises & energies the deity.
