Some of these would not be good 1: “no dinosaur battles” if done right,it can be an awesome moment! 2: “no winks or nods” why though? It is still “Jurassic World”. The first Jurassic World was still canon and made loads of references to the original trilogy, and most people think it is the best in the franchise(outside of the first Jurassic Park movie, obviously)
Just in this minute, as I saw this video, Universal released the trailer to "Black Bag". The movie made by Steven Soderbergh and David Koepp that was mentioned in the Reddit post. Starring Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett. It seems like a mission movie as well. David Koepp is certainly one of my favorite writers out there and I'm excited to see more of his work coming to the big screen.
I'm still hopeful for a live-action Jurassic tv-series one day, and by the sound of it, David Koepp 's bottle method of writing, would be a fantastic fit for a constrained, intense adult-oriented story, which explored the in-between events of the movies, or maybe the new movies could even set up a cool tv storyline
A lot of people are not wanting more dinosaur fights in Rebirth. Am I the only one who enjoys dino vs dino scenes? Not the Camp Cretaceous season 4/5 type of battles (you know what I mean haha) but something like two theropods or more crosses paths accidentally and end up fighting. But the battle has to be slightly longer, and add a bit of realism into it, like if we’re getting a T-Rex vs Spino rematch (hopefully a scientifically accurate spino), have the T-Rex and Spino hiss at each other, snapping at each other, sizing one another up, mock-tail whips, shaking their heads and pawing the ground to intimidate the other, loud roaring, flaring nostrils, and for contact, let the T-Rex realistically put its powerful jaws into effect, like literally cause immense damage on the Spino, ripping one of its arms off, biting its leg to causing it to limp, rip half its sail off, and if it wants to kill it, go for the neck and give it the iconic twist. As for the Spino, it can bite, but realistically have its bites only injure the Rex, not outright kill it. Its deadliest weapon should be its claws, and have it stab the Rex on its sides, or its face. Its jaws should still be strong enough to rip the T-Rex’s arms off though. So yeah, whilst I definitely do love dino fights, I want them to add more realism into them. Rebirth best please both paleo and Jurassic fans alike, as well as the general audience who would normally be thrilled at a dino v dino action.
@ Of course. At least not as described in the books and movies. There’s been speculation about reverse gene-engineering theropods from modern birds, but recovering direct Dino DNA from fossils can’t be done. I think Koepp’s point would be that the science has to be as plausible as possible given what we know from the real world. Cloning animals is something that has been done for real, so cloning dinosaurs is plausible if it were possible to get their DNA. No one has made chimera species like a human-dino hybrid in the real world. So this better mean no one has done it in Jurassic, either.
"No Big Dinosaur Battles"? So much for a proper rematch. Somehow, JW Camp Cretaceous final episode was only satisfying at first, now it just doesn't feel enough.

I disagree. The World trilogy had it right to change things. You now live in a world where dinosaurs are common place and common knowledge. To have the same level of suspense when you literally had tons of people trained to deal with these creatures wouldn't feel right.
The original JP and the Lost World were both masterpieces. JP 3 was just ok , but definitely not all that great. Everything after JP 3 was dog s**t. @destroyerzilla7634 if Spino is the Hero Dino and the genetic mutation is the villain Dino than I hope Spino gets it's ass kicked and I hope it dies. There is no need for that overrated creature to be hailed as a hero. The mutant Dino villain is automatically my pick because they overrated the spino so much I'm sick of it.
