@@sillysaili is it possible to be bad but able to do 500 apm what the fuck are you doing with those 500 and still bad? Could a 50 apm player ever beat a 500 apm , is that the main metric for testing ability besides someone's record of mmr?
@@thirdworldrider6991 You can achive high apm artificially by just clicking as fast as you can for no othere reason.

Just found this video and it's probably one of the best games of SC2 I've ever watched.
Watched this game live, a little while before the big engagement Gametime was asking if chat thought he should just quit and move on to the next game and everyone was just saying to go for it. Was crazy to watch.

Im confident as a low plat player I would lose against either of them. (but considering how stubborn this zerg is with unit choice, just get colossus charglot. I main toss)

he should have surrounded his last stand army with his extra buildings to eat damage and floated one off somewhere.
tyty8484 In hind sight I think more vikings to try and snipe off the vipers at the end instead of so many ravens (maybe like 4) would have been a better choice. Preferably before the end battle.
Or gametime could have left a single corruptor somewhere just in case.
For the longest time I thought: some mistakes have been made, but when is this high level game really going to be BLH?

34:00 minutes in i realized i dont think i saw a single zerg detection unit. a single cloaked ghost with emp would pay out huge dividends shutting out those blinding clouds
ehh questionable. a few of the engagements the vipers were just sniped before they even did anything though a clocked ghost with nukes might of broke his economy
Pretty much anything with energy would have helped. Ravens with misslew, ghosts with snipes.

Wouldnt speedling be able to counter sieged tanks and thors easily? Jasons unit comp is literally just that, instead of throwing hundreds of hydras to a mech army he should have just gone zergling hydra broodlord rush..

Im taking part into the infamous gold league and most of my opponents are worse than that. Those are definitely not bronze level players.

When I see how mech terran have 4500 gas in bank and still refuses to make a single raven, it just tell me that all changes to the Raven are still not good enough to make it a good support unit. (If they want to make Raven an efficient support unit for terran, it still needs some modifications).
Ravens should have cloak and nukes.
Give it repair drone as a fourth spell
Exacly. Repair drone may not be all that good in direct combat, but it still have quite a lot of utility, especially in scenario where you don't have minerals and gas to repair. It would give Raven a better utility.
Also, Raven should either have its cost cut a little (25 gas less for example), or its anti-armor missile should be a bit better (maybe it should reduce armor by 4 instead of 3, or it should stop enemy units from repairing/heling/shield recovering for the duration of anti-armor spell), or if aside form armor reduction it could slow down enemy units by 25%, it would become very helpful (enemy who are hit would have harder time retreating from battle to heal or chase outnumbered army).
The issue with anti-armor is that if it hit a lot of units, enemy simply retreat and wait for the spell to wear off (and often those who use ravens rarely get opportunity to rush the enemy with strong army), so spaming it for cheap damage with many raven is still better than having one raven for support. It just need effect that would make it more atractive to use early on in small numbers rather than all out spam.
I don't say to make Raven more OP, just to make it more atractive to use mid-game, making it helpful to have 1 or 2 ravens together with your marines, cyclones, hellbats, thors instead of getting a few extra gas-heavy units or banshi for harasment.
Same logic, lings needs a buff. a.k.a. its called tunnel vision, not unit imbalanced
I disagree. Lings are used quite often for early defense and harasment or to reinforce and they have a solid estabilished role in zerg army (and this unit have strong upgrades). You always see them in action, and with good surround, they can deal a lot of damage. I find this unit to be well balanced.
The big diference is that when it comes to ravens, the intention that balance team had for this unit is:
Good support unit, help to deal with creep, used in small numbers together with army (bad in large number, but if you make 2 ravens for your army, it will be more beneficial than making 3 bashi or 3 cyclones or 2 liberators.)
How is it now is that it is extremely hard to get raven out since using other units is always more efficient. Raven can't fullfil the role it was made for, and this is why I find this unit poorly balanced. If they not want ravens to spam anti-armor missiles, why not make it do 40 damage over-time that doesn't stack up? If they want it to support, why not let it have 4 spells instead of 3 and slightly boost the repair drone? If they want it to help deal with creep, why not cut gas cost for it by 25 or not make it avaible from reactor?
I don't say that raven is bad unit, but there are just too few situations when getting ravens benefit you. Even lossing a mule for scans to deal with creep or cloacked units is better than getting raven out, that's the problem.
