Lion vs Hyenas | rare animal encounters

Experience the raw nature of wildlife and watch as each fight for the same food! A pride of lions took down a buffalo the night before. A pack of hyenas watched them eat their food for hours and finally decided late into the morning they would make an attempt to scavenge the carcass. However, the Lions weren’t finished and didn’t like the hyenas coming close to their carcass. Watch as the lion scares them away.

Interesting that she was alone and able to keep them all at bay. Her pride must have been nearby.

Great observation, pride was out of the shot but certainly close by. There looked to be about 5 females and 2 young males.
