@Jax Stens don’t matter who is what place there is a reason comment’s like this never get hearts or attention from the channel’s anymore at first it was a fun joke but it’s just another boring overused meme or whatever
Love the convoluted plot in this anime, everything has a story even the background characters and it ain't just hopping around in different locations, love how the writers just actually develop a character, within a limited amount of time, and location
it's a damn good anime based on a damned good manga, I read it before the anime and honestly it's very solid I would have been appalled if the anime somehow failed
no shyt.. i was sure it would of been a shytshow where shimpei has to sacrifice his life to save the girl, and only she survives or something. and he couldnt save anyone else at the festival.. just his immediate close ones or something..
Honestly this anime did such a great job at giving a sense of running out of time while in a time loop, the exact opposite, there are so few shows, movies, ect that actually do this and succeed. (Closest I can think of is The Last Day of Summer from Phineas and Ferb as the final episode of the show.)
well the loop idea tends to follow you always go back to the start so having the starting point move forward it creates that running out of time effect. so really its like a noose slowly tightening with each reset. the issue with time travel is it can be convoluted and paradoxical so to avoid that and the headaches that come along with it, most try to keep it simple. anyways its not hard to use time travel but making it a good story point its hard to do i have a friend who uses time loops in her comic where the past and future versions can meet and interact with each other, the ironic part is she doesn't fully grasp time travel theory or the paradoxes it can create. she often doesn't show how or when that loop is ended. she also uses time freezing but doesn't do it like others mostly it comes off more like teleporting with some ability to see the world frozen no jojo's dio stuff ^_^; it isnt the focus of her story just a power one of the main characters race can do.
Seriously, this recap is pretty amazing. It really makes me want to watch the anime, but at the same time I'm pretty satisfied with this recap. Aces, bro
after the 5th episode released on zoro i resolved to binge once the final episode aired... and it was a decision _well_ worth the wait. it's one of the few anime that gave me anxiety having to wait for the next episode. to your point, however, i feel the same. i watch a lot of recaps and sometimes, more so than not, that's enough. (even though i actually found _this_ one while scrolling through 'new releases' on the day of it's debut, if i'd seen a recap first i definitely would've stopped before too much was revealed and started watching the show.)
criminally underrated anime... the way this story was presented gave me the same sense of satisfaction as "vivy: fluorite-eyes song" did; self-contained, neatly wrapped-up.
I will never forgive Disney for this Imagine how popular this anime could have been if it wasn't limited to the Japanese version of Disney+. Almost everyone who watched this anime pirated it- which means less money went to studio for this masterpiece :(
This Anime was by far one of the best anime this year as it was unique and well written, reminds me of Shiki which i watched when it came out because its an anime that makes you think while watching it.
Definitely needs more attention as this has a much better plot than most movies or TV shows especially ones that deal with a town with a deep dark secret dating back centuries and time loops love this very much needs to be adapted into something in order for this to get the attention
Well that was a convoluted time heist if i ever saw one. Thanks for the recap tho, but i feel I'll need to actually watch this a few times to truly understand all of it 😂
This anime was so refreshing I'm going to be honest I'm so pissed is many anime are either never going to have an ending or end ending sucks ass. This is was amazing with a very good and satisfying end. 10/10
Wow the summary of this doesn't quite do the continuity of this anime justice but understandable nonetheless. it's like watching someone play hopscotch but on a timeline not a playground. it's an interesting concept that there's a fixed series of events and the butterfly effect of changing any of them ultimately made it so he wasn't able to change some of them anymore, time travel in sci-fi is usually hit and miss for me as most tend to just use it as a retcon without any care for continuity but this did alright at preserving the general flow
@@WeaponDamage you should watch that movie groundhog day if you have not already also there was some other movie about a girl on her 16th birthday who was being killed by someone but the day kept repeating every time she died and her whole thing was trying to survive and also identify and get the killer arrested or whatever
Just finished watching this a few weeks ago. This one is really good. But you need to invest a little patience in the start at it was really confusing. Glad that they have tied everything in the end. I also liked the last episode even if the main story finished at ep24.
