I really enjoy your podcast. I’m working on a simple granny stitch stripe blanket as a going away gift. Next on my list will be a shawl/scarf for myself. I knit as well but it’s been years since I knitted socks. But I did use DPN’s. Looking forward to more podcasts. I would love suggestions for your favorite podcasts. Maybe highlight one each week.

Your wreath is beautiful. I have knitted socks using circular needles. I have never tried the double-point needles. I am currently working on a temperature blanket, a summer tee, and another afghan that is part of a CAL called Luck of the Draw. All three projects are crochet projects. Looking forward to your next podcast.

I used to use DPNs for knitting socks, but once I caught on to how to use a long circular needle for magic loop, I like that best and have never gone back. I love the wreath you made! It's beautiful!

Thank you! I may try magic loop, too, as I'm finding that the DPNs are fiddly for me right now.

You did a fabulous job on the wreath for your front door!!! Not sure if the stitch count would be the same… could you add another row to the back of the potholder and join it together to the front? Due to health challenges…was on Dr order not to crochet for several months…has now been lifted… can crochet 1 hour 2 times a week. It’s a challenge as I’m use to doing 3 to 4 hours daily…but I’m crocheting…so excited!!! Working on a crop top and a bralette for my daughter…her husband surprised her with a trip for their 7th anniversary the end of June. Looking forward to seeing your temp blanket update at the end of each month. Love your podcast…so relaxing and enjoyable!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤

Thank you so much, Sandara! I'm glad you're able to do a little crocheting again. Your daughter will LOVE those items you're making for her.

Hi Gina, I am currently working on a Battenburg blanket/s as well. I am making one as a boy baby blanket with greens, blues, aquas and white and a girl baby blanket to put back in my gift closet. The girl one is using lilac, pinks, yellow and white. I am crocheting mine together. I have also made 2 Natures Walk blankets by Sandra Paul. I love her patterns. Thank you for your podcast. All the best! Sheila

I admire your crochet ambition. It seems you've made peace with weaving in the yarn tails. That's something on my to-do list -- I pass up projects like the Battenberg because I dread so many tails. Glad there are people like you who aren't phased by it and can add that much more beauty to the world. I am considering a temperature blanket, but do you find the moss stitch stretches out? Or will you add a border to offset that effect?

If I take on the Battenberg blanket, I hope to weave in my ends as I go to help keep them under control. All those ends at once does down daunting! I've also sandwiched them into the working yarn as I go on other projects and that seems to work. I don't know how this will look though on the Battenberg. Might have to be a little bit of trial and error. For the moss stitch on my blanket, I have not experienced it stretching out yet but I will look out for that. I find that the stitches stay pretty compact. I also plan to do a neutral border around the whole blanket. Thank you for your comments!
