It's so cool to see this come together after catching that live the other week. Definitely one of the most interesting pedal demos ever, haha. The animation was great!
@@miss-emvy Thank you so much for watching! Yes, this is why I love showing behind the scenes things as I can because as much as I want to share everything it would take away from the delivery of it come release day haha! I am glad you enjoyed it :)
Thank you so much for saying this Doug it really means a lot to me as I work extremely hard on these and wear all hats. I never know if what I make will do the work I hope it will do, share the love of pedals/creativity and the joy of laughter. I am glad My hard work was the reason for your happiness today. I did good a good thing with my gifts finally haha
Very nicely done. I had to wait for time to focus on it and glad I did. Very well produced and organized and especially impressed to get time to see behind the enclosure. So much fun! Bonus, I get David Foster Wallace added to my algorithm. Win-win.
Thank you for watching! Ya I figure since I’m thus far without trying consistently at the long form 30min for demos which over the weekend may be better suited to watch. Haha I hope they watch like Saturday morning cartoons I miss those! Yes! I thought looking inside and explaining what’s going on would be a nice bit as the more I ask the builders directly about the PCBs the more I am learning myself and as someone who was naturally very curious child it’s been fun understanding what’s behind the effect and what it’s doing / the history of the chip and applications. Since I uploaded I too get David Foster Wallace in my algorithms haha! Twinsies!
Thank you so much for watching Kevin, I am really happy to finally share all this work with you as you’ve seen it in it’s behind the stage portions on discord :)
Excellent animation and what a cool way to demo the pedal with the voice! Loved the peaceful imagery, too! Oh and he definitely was flirting…. He gave you the “eye.” 😹
Thank you for watching Karen! Yes with every demo I always try to use the pedals effect on the characters voice as it’s the pedal that’s speaking so I figure the effect would also come through on the voice. Yea when it’s a looped sample I figure to give some kind of visual to keep things moving. O M G I laughed so hard with that “Eye” joke! That was amazing wit! Hahahaha!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your saying this and watching this one I really loved making so I think it shows from the beginning of this channel an evolution to a standard look or format.
Thank you for Watching! It’s because of your demo you did a while back that I always wanted to own this pedal and I FINALLY got around to buying one and it’s been so much fun! I had to share my enthusiasm for it this way :D
YESSSS!! The last thing Delayvid says is also a line from Bombardini when he is eating all the steaks to be the infinite yang haha I loved that scene so much
You can! Mae Borrowski from the video game “Night in the woods” there is an instructables on how to make it! I followed their instructions to make it. Thanks for watching ❤️
@@randysutton2120 I tried to years ago because I loved the music from Poe and it was her brothers book and her album she made was based on that book she said.
Wow! once again great job. Can't believe how well produced this all is. It's like a real TV show! Also, you gotta put out that ambient guitar jam. It's excellent!!
Thank you so much for saying this, I put a lot of time and effort into making these as best as I can myself to be like it could be an actual produced TV animated! The Ambient jam? The loop portion?
Thanks! I appreciate your watching and saying this! I tried to go through infinite Jest BUT the pedal builder also recommended “Broom of the system” which a lot of the Easter eggs in this demo are from and a much shorter read. Recommend!
@@PedalPlayhouse The Stand is slightly longer, I think. As much as I love King's stuff, I've always thought it was a bit overrated. Not bad, it just loses some steam in the second half. Also, regarding Infinite Jest, keep an extra bookmark in the footnotes to avoid frustration. 😀
Thank you so much for watching Gumshake and commenting haha I honestly wish I had a second person with the same amount it would be like a Trex with extendable arm craws! Unstoppable!!
That's the kind of pedal you can spend quite a few afternoons with, just playing and dialing in fun shit to jam with. Thanks for the demo/review. Also... that St. Vincent. Unf. Still on my list. One day I'm absolutely picking one up.
The LDR is pretty fun but I really did through this demo find I love delays that have the PT2399 chip. Really love that sound in a delay. Sterlings are pretty affordable, they are made really well! I could never afford the actual MM version but playing them both I honestly didn’t really see the difference besides maybe the paint and neck shapes. I got mine used on eBay, there’s hope to snag one!
Hey Onion head guy! thanks for watching! Ya I really love Excess Rat like distortion, I love rats but used subtle with the DFW was textually really nice to me in this demo. I go boomerang looper to board and balance it with a DI before hitting the DAW. The signal as is not manipulated in the DAW to maintain authenticity as best as possible.
Hey Miller! Thank you so much for watching! That’s part of the fun for me is looking for pedals I would enjoy animating and creating a voice for. Art on a pedal is JUST as important as the sound of the pedal for me as a audio/visual artist. I plan to create a character for pedals that are Text based sometime soon after my next Demo which is OBNE MAW which will be a vocal demo so I try to find new interesting stuff all the time to explore as part of the demo channel. Full creative freedom is very important to me.
@@PedalPlayhouse I also noticed that this one took you a lot less time. You mentioned before that you were trying to find a way to speed up your workflow, so that your videos wouldn’t take three months. What does this one take? About a month? Great job!
@@MillerCustomGuitars thanks the last two took a month and a half I’ve still not gotten it down to a month yet but I also have health issues that can slow me down at times so uh haha life happens right? Ya I didn’t have to animate a mouth so it was a LOT easier! Animating mouths is arduous work compared to just eye movement and I also waited till he had a few in shop because these delays are so kool that if someone wanted one they could get one ya know? It’s a joy
@@MillerCustomGuitars no I don’t, the builder of the pedal does. I bought the pedal but I asked him when I was story boarding questions on the build details of this unit with the LDR and we talked about when the demo would be done etc he would try to have units in his shop. @@PedalScopicSounds thank you, that means a lot to me as I know you understand the work that goes into it. wearing all hats it really does take longer then if I had a team like I used to work in for years.
