I love watching reactor's faces when Teddy's voice comes in alone, especially if it's their first time hearing him. Same with Tom Jones, Righteous Brothers etc, it's fantastic to see how music I remember from my youth can still have that effect today. I doubt that in 40 or more years time, today's so called superstars will get anywhere near the praise given for those old time legends.
This is pure talent Teddy was the front man for Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes with many hits and a very successful solo career...the orchestra is a group of very talented musicians (MFSP) Mother,Father,Sister,Brother these were the sound of Philadelphia in the 70s/80s some of the greatest disco songs ever 😀 🔥🔥Teddy's voice reminds me of Dennis Edwards of The Temptations RIP to both of these Legends and Levi Stubbs of the Four Tops 😔😔🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏🇨🇮
Every time my deaf sister comes to visit we always watch the Soul Train Line, the stroll is our favorite. Good times with my sis, we cut up & try to dance 😂 I’d love to see y’all react to the stroll lines. Much love from New Orleans 🤍
I love Teddy’s voice and his movements on stage how he express himself with his hands, facial expressions etc. He has so much sex appeal without even trying. Great reaction!!
Loved this song. But sad memories of my cute girlfriend back in 1974 mailing me the Dreaded Dear John Letter when I was stationed at Camp Foster Okinawa. I was heartbroken. Never forgotten that feeling.

None of the Philly singers or producers would have anything if not for the magical musicians at Sigma Studios. No wonder artists from nearly every genre came to Philly to record. BB King, The Whispers, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Eddie Kendricks, Jermaine Jackson. etc. etc.

Teddy has the most expressful, soulful voice that you can feel his pain when he sings of heartbreak-R.I.P. Mr. Pendergrass.

Teddy Pender the female Bender... al live interview on one of his LP.s 👍👍😁
Sexiness just oozes out of Teddy! Like he can't even help it, it's just natural.
I took this music for granted and then I hear this crap they play now
We just didn't know how good we has it. LOL. This crap the music industry has oroduced since the early 2000s is trash.
