No need to worry about that when I’m running my 3-4 odd a gap and double edge heat blitzes. These are by far and away my favorites in the game right now. But I am running xfactors at my DEs but haven’t really noticed a difference when sending all out heat. Is anything it helps be when everybody is picked up so they shed faster. They also shed a lot quicker when met I decide to drop coverage. Still using the goose gameplan from earlier this year it’s just so beautiful.

34 mug is pretty underrated this year. The blocking formula for that one is pretty unknown and under the radar. It pays to be off meta.
@@ZANmadden that’s what I’m saying. I love being off meta because your opponent has to take almost a whole half just to get a grasp on your scheme. I am absolutely loving the tight slot open on offense rn out of spread. I come out in that then audible to double stack because the read option rpo out of that kills dollar.
I switched back to 3-4 odd a few weeks ago for that cov 4 a gap and I’ve just been wrecking people. People too use to playing the meta they don’t know what to do when they’re not
@@iSpamRB I know what your talking about. I actually use that for my empty defense because I don’t like the man alignment against empty especially when all the empty alignments are different.
Personally, I like leaving the safety in the box for extra run support and for RPO defense. I find if you man up the safety with the slot he plays rpos well. I also don't like pressing. The slot CB on the left is already on the LoS, and this way I don't get beat deep or I don't have to manually back the slot CB on the right. I keep match on as well, but don't have a problem getting bombed with the adjustments I make.
This video was needed though, because I see so many try to run it and do so wrong.

Been following you since the muthead days and i agree with your way of thinking when it comes to x -factors on d-line while running a blitz. I was running a 4-3 blitz with not as many x- factors one day and it was fire, so i said lets make it even better and loaded up all my d-line with x - factors and had a harder time getting the blitz to work as good.

The part about pre lit X-factors not getting in effectively just makes sense. I run Karlaftis, Sapp, and Jared Allen. I’ve wondered why Allen seemed like such a dog 😂
The pre-lits change block targeting when you're trying to get free runners. I've been a big tin-foil hat wearing on this topic for quite a few years now! Thanks for watching acuevas.
If you’re base aligned you don’t have to back off your slot CB. Still comes in if they don’t set up pass protection. I’m sure it’s different in practice mode when jabbing but in games X factors don’t appear to impact the blitz. You probably want them there even if it did cause if the blitz gets picked up those guys will still shed extremely fast
Im an old content guy for the original madden all stars ... @zan when i tell you old concepts are locking everyone down its an understatement. I guess because of my experience in mut me having a 67 overall beating 91 overall i wasn't impressed so i play regs and noone knows about this.. kc ran it last night and it gave me goosebumps because ive been running this the last month and im 104-4 since starting this concept . This concept used to be plays in madden . 1 still is in the okie roll . Im tellin u .. lets link .. id love to see my work in mut
I usually just slide right for my protection and make sure the ID is on the blitzer and it always gets picked up for me.

After not having Madden for about 6 years I got this years Madden and got crazy. My highest rank was like 250. After I got that I kind of took a break because I realized that In order to rank high you have to put a lot of time into the game, most people aren't a challenge and quit and the biggest issue is that for the most part you have to figure out how to beat the programming. I honestly don't like that but I get it. I stopped playing for a few weeks and went down to 500 to now a 1200. Once you get that high you get like 2 points for winning and you lose like 12 points for losing. I enjoy competition and I love football but remember, when you play Madden you're playing against the player and the programming.
Welcome back to Madden man! Stay at it. That knowledge gap is the real hurdle, for sure.
I think that's pretty much true of any video game, though. One that I hear a lot is "the game is animation based" - and I don't really understand it. It's a video game. It has to be animated, no? The other one (and I'm guilty of it) is physics. "The game needs real physics" - well, the best you'll ever get is a computerized simulation of physics...because it's still a game!

What did you do to make the LB blitz and have the FS play zone? Im a little lost.
Lb is already blitzing in FS blitz 3. He just put the FS manually in a hook zone.
Zan.. I have an insane version of this blitz. I come out in dbl safety go then audible to fs safety depending on the formation im facing i send a overload from the left letting the fs and lb blitz >I user the the Mlb.. If i cant send the over load left I user the fs and lurk with him and have the a gap come in with a few tricks 😂

What’s the best formation to stop stretches? I got the worst run defense in my franchise but top 10 in pass. Love the content!
I base out of Over G. The more DL and LBs you have, the better your defense will get read & react AI ability to spammed run calls.
4-3 over wide. GREAT RUN DEFENSE for stretch runs and basically all runs

This is too much, just pick double safety blitz and changes audibles to cover two DB blitz, FS fire Zone, cover 4 drop, and spinner
The double safety blitz bring both safeties down which is great run defense, then pick and audible and play, only change after picking and audible is on spinner identify the unmanned player and man up the closest slot CB to him and boom instant pressure while DBs are covering tight short to take away quick passes. Set flats to 20 curl flats to 5, crazy lock down defense

It's not widely run, no. Spinner (with adjustments) is the man version.
In dollar every play with a A Gap blitz this setup will work in a way.
Why does my blitzing backer sometimes shuffle his feet and stop .??? Anybody else have that happen?

@@JohnJones-xw2zj in madden if your blitz instantly comes through the line sometimes the game will make your player stop and act as if he were being blocked even tho he’s not actually being blocked which means you got nano detected
