Great rear tire choice.👍🏻 Ever try a Pirreli mt16? That and a Bridgestone m59 front is the set up for New England type hare scramble terrain. Beautiful bike. Might just get one some day.
Are the shocks too stiff factory because you’re light ? I’m interested in this bike to tractor around 200lbs the woods, think it’s capable ? Wanting to switch from a FE350 which rides me around instead.
It just depends what kind of riding you do. They come with springs for 180lbs so you're good there. We changed the valving to make it more plush so that would be preference. I think the 200 would be light and manageable in technical trail and you'd have a blast!
@@chasingchelsea321 no I used the bolts it came with, I heated the flap that covers the linkage and bent it down and bolted the rear just enough to hold it on, the I removed the exhaust and heated the front just alittle and forced the bolt to catch and I tighten it down. You will have to shave alittle on the right side cause it was tight against the exhaust bolt rubber bushing. Thing gave me a headache and I let them know it too lol. Just hope you never have to take it off.
Great video. Did you put the low-boy kit on it or ride it full size? Hard to tell from video. I’m 5’9” and the 200 is my first bike, but the one in the shop had the low boy. Thinking of trading in for full size
measure you oil with something like a ratio rite to see how much it take to make the oil come out the over flow and after that you will not have to take the overflow bolt out anymore, just put the correct oz.'s in.
@HardEnduroAppalachia Thanks for fast reply! I'm also a shorty, 5'4" 140 and just got a 23 race edition. Definitely changing spring rates but was trying to decide if the low seat would be enough.
@dennisharvey3146 it's definitely still tall. Depends what you're going to ride. If it's technical / hard enduro type. I recommend 1" lower. I lowered my sherco and really enjoyed it.
I absolutely love a 200cc bike, but now I'm more of a mellow old fart and hope to throw a leg over my new to me 2018 Beta 300rr. It's like new as it only has 21 hrs on it.
Kyb suspension and linkage. I'll take the Beta! I hear you on the 200 kit! I figured slavens would make one but they don't. We looked for one at one point. I have a 300 and I promise you the 200 beta feels 30lbs lighter. It's just like a 150 but way more power. Thanks for watching! 👊🏻
Nice! Thanks for posting!
Beta 200 the Best ❤️
Cool review! Always good to learn about new bikes and KTM's competition!
Btw, Nice trails!
Thanks for checking us out !
Great vid!
Thanks dude she loves that bike lol !
Great review, good looking bike , congrats!!
Thanks Glenn!
You and Johnny Walker.great choice.
Yeahhhhh !!! He killed it on his last hard enduro riding his 200

Never tried either but I have a lot of friends who run the m59 and love it! Thanks for watching

I put a axp skid plate on my 23 200 and it was a pain... the bolts were to short so I had to use a heat gun
That’s a great idea, did you use longer bolts? It’s been a big pain in the butt trying to put that plate on

Thanks Scott! Bike is full size, just has lighter springs, and revalved. You can always lower if it's too tall! Have fun!
Thanks for the reply. Just spoke to my local beta dealer and going to swap out my current regular 200rr for a race. Keep up the great work
@@scottcolontonio Nice ! The KYB is a great upgrade 🥳

Awesome idea !!
X2 on using a measuring cup for your oil. Check bolt will strip out.
Had 2 Beta 200s and miss them at times. Went to a Sherco 300 SEF..
How do you like your 4 stroke? I started on a ktm 250 exc-f great bike !
Love the 4 stroke but miss the Beta...need both. 🤣
How do you like the seat concepts seat? Is it too wide?
Once you buy one you won't run anything else. Not too wide, I think it helps grip with your legs.
Are you changing to new spring for your wight or just revalve ?
Both!
Should put the kick starter kit on it.
Agree ! We need to put a 1 year review out. Already had some issues with the starter.
Where y’all riding at during this video ? Awesome review love the channel 🇺🇸
Thanks Blake ! We filmed this riding at Highland Park in Georgia
Why do you need radiator braces? Are the beta radiators weak?
Because we ride harder, rocky trails. Enough drops or a good enough drop on ANY bike will bend your radiator.
Johnny Walker has been hiding one of these, if it's competitive for him, that says a lot.
Hey I ride the 300 sherco. Eveeytime I ride her Beta I feel like I could race it competitively! The power and suspension/ weight feel is 🤌🏻
When you did the suspension did you lower it or just the low seat?
Just lower seat

@@HardEnduroAppalachia Now did you do that? New seat?
How tall are you?
Was your 150 remapped or stock?
Stock, it was the carb model
5 lbs of gear? Seems light🤔
That's a womans weight scale. 🤫 her boots weigh 5lbs. We need a fact checker on our next review.

That's a bike with some extra grunt 🤌🏻 sounds nice!
should have put a 200 kit on the 150 - keep the weight and a better bike. The 200 Beta is about the same weight as the 300 Beta.
