Not going to lie I cried at the end of the game one because my dad Pittsburgh native born and raised in the hill district Franco Harris was his favorite player and I was raised a Steelers fan in California after my dad got out the navy and I came up in the Big Ben era watching him become a Pittsburgh legend and now it’s a new era that started Saturday night wish pops could have been here to watch it but he passed from cancer back in 2019 I know they watched from heaven along with my uncles that are die hard Steelers fan we love and miss y’all man Steelers Nation 4 Life and in the next one 🖤💛
I became a steelers fan when they played super bowl 43 and been a fan ever since and sorry for your lost 🙏

I swear all my comments on RUclips are about my dad and the Steelers. Mine passed away 2018 and grew up in Pittsburgh. This game was very emotional. We have the most passionate people supporting the black and yellow.

i feel you on all of this, the year we went 11-0 is the last games my grandma saw before she passed away she was a huge fan her whole life n was so happy to see them doing that the smile and laugh she gave is soemthing ill never forget and i hold it special to the steelers and i keep that with me always when i watch them

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area (Butler) watching the Steelers since I was a baby and having the family spend Steeler Sunday with dinner right after back in the 80's. Listening to my Grandma curse out Terry Bradshaw, then meeting him a few times years later.. in airports and a very nice guy.. I ran into Terry one time in I think Dallas when I was in the army and had no time to talk to him back about mid 2000s , but had to tell him really quick that my Grandma who died in 1991 is still screaming "Damn it Bradshaw!!!" while in her grave. He responded with something along the line of "yeah, I have been hearing that a lot" Nice guy, one of my idols since I was a kid. Met him 2 other times and he was always nice.

One thing l will be doing more of now is savoring this life God gave me, as Franco seemed to do. Mike Tomlin recently said of Franco, "He was never in a hurry." It's time to pause sometimes and just smell the roses.
I know he would have loved being at the stadium on Saturday to take it all in in appreciation for all of the love Pittsburgh has for him.

Wow! This took me back to those NFL films of the 60s and 70s with the great John Facenda! Kenny grew up in that game. Hopefully they can get a new OC to help him grow into a top tier QB. Be patient Steeler Nation. I believe The Kid has what it takes to be a winner. Remember people thought Josh Allen in the beginning was a bust. How'd that work out?
