How did Twitch end up, under the table?
He was under it to begin with. The establishing shot with twitch was an edit. The table is a classic hidden compartment, small pliable assistant. Notice how the last shot never showed anything below the table. She was off with the cloth and flat under it and the table bottom til they cut. Andy and Ellen were not random.
