Crystal Palace promoted to WSL after clinching Championship title

Crystal Palace Women have won the Women's Championship for the first time to earn promotion to the WSL for the 2024/25 season.
It has been an enthralling title race in the second tier of women's football in England, and the Eagles were three points ahead of Charlton heading into the final weekend.
However, they were also 22 ahead on goal difference and anything but a huge goal swing would confirm Crystal Palace as champions.
Ultimately, they secured their own spot in the WSL despite a goalless draw against Sunderland, winning the title by a point ahead of Charlton. The Addicks beat Southampton 2-0 on the final day.

Congratulations Crystal Palace and to lift the title at home too, phenomenal season from them. Next year for the first time, 12 clubs will have teams in both the Super League and Premier League, both top flights of English football. Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham. Next season will be something very special as a new era begins.
