Love your channel, Chad. And thank you for doing this topic. Timely and needful, because the wonderful Avata does seem to scream! It has a sound problem. Cheers! Thankful subscriber.
You can put lip stick on a pig and it’s still a pig. I bought the 3 blade props, tested them the other day; the noise pitch is different, but nothing to write home about. I didn’t notice any improvement in flight characteristics JMO. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Funny thing is i actually order theses blades yesterday before running into your video. My Avata and blade with fly more kits will be delivered tomorrow and I can’t wait.
Your flying makes me nervous lol but thanks for posting this. I have a set of each for about a week now and just cant beat the snow / rain or high wind alerts to fly. crazy weather here but thanks man.
Hey Chad! I'm a huge MAS fan especially on somewhat noisy drones. For Avata, it's double duty: Performance/Sound related. I saw these a week or so back, now I just need an Avata so I can get these. 😮
Great review Chad. I'm going to get the 4 bladed ones after watching this! I'm looking as I had a propeller explode mid-air, see my last video! Have lost confidence in the factory DJI ones now! Jackie
I watched this post some weeks ago BEFORE I got a Mini 4 Pro. Didn’t want the Avata because of the sound, pleased by the 4. After enjoying the 4, last week they released an update allowing for goggles/motion controller for the 4. Still like the Avata, so the new 3, 4 bladed may still give that option. Can’t really fly the 4 like and Avata w/open, wider blades. Decisions, decisions! Thanks for the great post.
I got the Anker 555, 1024WH power bank and like it a lot. Seems like enough juice to play all day. Also picked up a 200W Elecaenta solar panel set to change it on location. Cheers, man. Keep up the great content. Your flight skills are getting pretty good too. 👍
Thanks for sharing this information Chad. I have both sets on order, mostly due to reports that the OEM props are cracking/breaking and causing crashes.
I think that may be due to the clear/translucent plastic of the stock props, as the lack of pigment doesn't block as much UV from degrading the material. Black, then blue, on to red, & then clear/translucent is the worst, in decreasing UV resistance value. When plastic gets degraded from UV radiation, it becomes more brittle & tends to crack.
I do like that yu tried showing it, but I am finding that I don’t like the noise level. Will stick to my Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro. Nice work, thanks for the post.
what's the difference in 3 or 4 blades in stability, I mainly fly inside so would need the blades that let the drone hover nice and be controlled nice, I don't fly manual yet. Great Video !
Great video, love the feed. I know you know that you need a visual observer when flying FPV as well a Flag, there is a reason for this. Please get you a visual observer if I lived in your area I would offer myself but but I am in Phoenix. Please have a visual observer to help keep you out of any trouble.
It may just be me, but those 3-blade props sound pretty nasty, the 4-blade sounded "fine". I would have loved to hear a direct comparison to stock props though, from what I can tell, these are more obnoxious than stock. Great video, solid flight, thanks for the information.
Nice test. If you want to get better at manual mode, practice taking off in that mode, as well. Also, when you land fly as low as possible, turn switch to N mode to land.
I know how to take off in manual mode. Was just in normal for testing purposes. A lot of the video was cut out because it would have been too long. What you didn't see was the same testing in normal and sport mode. It seems as if you didn't see one part of the video 10:16. Look carefully... You can also see this done in my second video with the Avata.
These test seem to be pretty subjective...One guy like the three blade, another like the four and others like stock..Different influencers like one over the other..I personally prefer the three :)..Great vid..Thanks

great video, great comparison, thanks! i should be getting my Avata 2 in a week or less. looking forward to trying it out.
Thank your so much. The video i was waiting for!
Thank You for this video! Now I know which props to purchase from Master Airscrew for my DJI Avata!
Nice review. I like the colors of the Master airscrew props. Now i need to start flying in manual mode. Thank you.

Thanks for the video I will go with 4 props. How did u record audio thro avata?
Ooh, those look and sound nice!
Yeah...I like the 4 blade the best.

Hey Jackie thanks... Make sure you watch my latest follow-up video on the 4 blade. Some info you may find interesting.
Noise comparison for 4 blade VS the stock and 3?
Hey Chad, what are your rates on your controller settings? Can you let me know so I can try and see if those will work for me?

Another great review. I may have to pick up a set of the 4 blades. Probably 3 blade as well. 🤙🏾
Thanks.. I'm sure the 3 blade would perform better in less wind. The 4 blade is my favorite, though.
Nice. Got the baby blue 4 blade props on today. 👍

It happened to me 2 times, mid air. lucky the drone is still in 1 piece.
I do like that yu tried showing it, but I am finding that I don’t like the noise level. Will stick to my Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro. Nice work, thanks for the post.
I prefer the four blades too. I had a weird feeling with the three blade.

It was a windy day, but even with the wind, the 4 blade was more stable.
Finally! I use their props on every DJI drone I’ve had.
How did you connect the power of the glasses to the power bank? What voltage goes to the glasses?
I didn't...I was using it to charge my batteries. But good idea, I might try that.

I concur, definitely don’t want to show your face on video without an observer.
Good video! Do the props make accessing the sd card any easier?
Yes, it makes it a little easy to open the door and get your fingers in there.
@@ChadB Glad to hear it, thanks!
Great comparison bro.
Full watch. Changing props on DJI drones scare me. Tuning on these things are set by manufacture, sometimes props can cause esc failure.
Ah...as a newbie, that's something I didn't think about. Good point.
Thanks bro..

Also, have you flown again with them? What do you think of them after more testing? Thanks
Haven't had the opportunity yet. Waiting for a day with less wind.
@@ChadB Thanks let us know mate. Wish you safe flights
would you recommend this drone to zoom around stuff and go somewhat fast
Yes, it's a nice little drone to zip around with.
I just need an Avata to put them on lol
In the wind, did you think 4 blades are better than stock prop?
Yes, it seemed to do a little better than the last time I flew in the wind with the stock props
Good video, Long time no see friend, how is going?❤😊 hope we fly together one day
The 3-blades sound different, but just as annoying. A slightly more dissonant sound, but also slightly lower pitch.
Nice test. If you want to get better at manual mode, practice taking off in that mode, as well. Also, when you land fly as low as possible, turn switch to N mode to land.

@@ChadB Will do. Thanks!
So Masters are pretty good. Noise of blue ones is much better.
So happy to find a black creative! Love the video bro. Can’t wait to see more from you. ✊🏾
Thanks bro!!
Yeah man, the only way to get better at flying acro mode is keep it manual
3 blade sounds the best... 4 blade seems better though.
The lower the blade count, the more efficient it will be
😎🤝
These test seem to be pretty subjective...One guy like the three blade, another like the four and others like stock..Different influencers like one over the other..I personally prefer the three :)..Great vid..Thanks
Do you think the 3 blade are useless?
For me, they are. There isn't much difference in the sound except for the pitch.
Con las 3 cuchillas siento que el drone se chupa y se pierde agilidad , volveré a las 5
Just learn how to hover in manual mode lol
