I never had ANY formal training, but taught myself dance and piano by ear, and by feel.The moves are good, great but they need to line up with the beat with pin point accuracy 100%, I could show them, but that's not my calling.....You need to have drifts of movement in between, like MJ, usher, JT For example NO EMPTY WASTED space even if its just flicking your hand finger or winking your eye or nodding your head in between every beat, collar flicks, hat dips (MJ), thigh spanks etc....... you do something that lines again 100% accurate up with the back beats then include it into your main moves and main beat. Its like a cake, you add layers, use all layers but add color and flavor to each layer, with cream too, and then repeat it but slightly different. However DONT OVER DO IT, See NO EMPTY SPACES the space thing, like Kristen probably knows Its something that really cant be taught. Its spiritual and you just feel it. I remember when I was younger and id go to clubs, and ppl would ask me to teach them to dance and pay me. If id chosen too, I would have made a brilliant chorographer, world renown, I know it in my heart, hands down. Its not how well you crump, twerk, pop, drop, its how well you pin point you timing. Some pl look like there having a seizure or an electric shock??? It has its place, but movement is not restricted just controlled with great timing and filling in that EMPTY SPACE- Kirsten Dodgen is awesome, she feels it. Its quite seductive and sensual. You cant explain spiritual to someone who's just a dancer. Ask Kristen, its like something comes" into you" and takes over. Its not of holiness, I will put it that way. She's my fav on JB Sorry. Some ppl are natural dancers and most are trained, Im aboriginal Australian, Maori, Torres straight Islander and Indonesian, I know the spiritual side is why I am great at dancing.
