      Yeah south asians are doing very well in this sport (Javelin throw).
      Last Olympics, Neeraj won a gold medal for India too. This time he won a silver (even though he had an injury).
      This is really great for both the countries.
      And cricket popularity only exists in South Asia. Even in Australia, many people don't even have an idea about cricket. They don't even know what it is.
      That's why you see only south asians winning , just like how India won the last world cup.

As people are sharing in the comments, South Asians today are involving themselves in sports and weightlifting again. I do think Pakistani boxers have speed in them as I have seen them at the grass roots level, but they tend to not want slug out as much as Latinos and others. Also look at Adam Azim in the UK, who is the current European champion, he beat Devin Haney in the amateurs, he also seems to have very fast hands and reflexes. I am an Indian and its no coincidence that states in which there is a food culture of more protein intake do well in sports.
    Haryana - It's a state in Northwest India and their sportspersons have won Olympic medals in Wrestling, Javelin throw. They along with the neighbouring state of Punjab are the most lactose tolerant people in India . Milk has protein and calcium. Consumption of meat is mainly poultry but a significant percentage are vegetarians.But still they have a population that have the ability to digest high protein foods. Also, it's a prosperous state by Indian standards.
    Kerala - They do well in track and field and their athletes have won numerous medals in Asian games . A couple of their athletes also came close to winning the bronze medal. Consumption of fish, poultry and red meat is highest in India. So, individuals having ability to digest high protein foods must be higher. Also , it's a prosperous state by Indian standards just like Haryana.

Srilankan diet is better than Indian one because we eat meat not much because we can't afford it . Sri langkans who born and raised in western countries are massive so much taller and bigger than Sri Lankans who born and raised in Sri Lanka because of low nutrition. since the video you published about races and sports you motivated me to do more research about this topic.
    also thanks to you i discovered team alpha 3d which has been a good beggining for my research.
    after even crossing the dangerous line of phenotypes and finally self-reflecting about all this topic i came into a conclusion a month ago:
    we, as members of the human race, have this three main physicall qualities:
    -Strenght
    -Athleticism
    -Skill
    some ethnic groups have a greater strenght predisposition, big guys throwing barrels over their heads, massmonsters winning the mister olympia competitions, guys who lift 500 kg in deadlift...
    others have greater athleticism predisposition, light-medium build people who can run fast, longer, jump higher, further, climb, swim...
    finally some have greater skill predisposition, usually light build people who are great at boxing, mma, football, in basketball they are the point guards, tennis, dance, parkour, acrobatics, olympic shooting...
    even though, most human ethnic groups have balance between the three and most times the differences are subtle, for example people in spain while balanced we are better at skill in comparission to the other two, then some have strenght as their secondary and others athleticism as secondary.
    and like this example, most people around the world are in this grey spectrum of slight variations mostly affected by the individual person.
    lastly, my final conclusion is that people shouldn't worry as much about the genetics of its race but their own predispositions, even those in a highly specialised ethnic group should ask themselfs, people like alpha 3d or you have already talked about black people not being good at strenght and thus there are black people at strongmen competitions who are stronger than 99.9% of the people around the world.
    tnx you b4flex!

      @SpiritualSeeker-oq5pt the only Pakistani to win an Olympic medal in boxing was a Sindhi named Syed Hussain Shah. He could have been a good pro. Sindhis are a mix bag because many have African and Balochi genes mixed in, even though they speak Sindhi. Lyari is the hot bed of Pakistani football yet all the resources go to Punjab. Punjabis are actually the least impressive. There are 180 million Punjabis.

    • @AmeenAnis
      @AmeenAnis 29 дней назад

      @SpiritualSeeker-oq5ptSindhis definitely have boxing potential compared to Punjabis. Syed Hussain Shah had an iron chin in the ring as opposed to Amir Khan, however he just wasn't funded and had to live like a dog and even after winning an Olympic medal back in the 1980s, he wasn't compensated enough. There is also decent football talent in Sindh. Punjabis are actually nothing to be proud of in Pakistan because most of the resources go to Punjab and they barely produce anything world level. There was also Mehrullah Lassi from back in 2006 who was a Sindhi African from Karachi but the government suspended the guy for cannabis drug test failures, which is weird because cannabis isn't even illegal in sports.

    • @BillMice
      @BillMice 29 дней назад

      @SpiritualSeeker-oq5pt Mike Tyson is a genetic monster. Who cares about height when you hit like a truck. Have you seen him recently at age 58 preparing for Jake Paul. He still has the same power as before. Boxing definitely takes genetics. White males suck at boxing for a reason despite their huge population in the west. The best boxers are always black Americans or Latinos. You get the odd Eastern European but they're just there for the white crowd to stay in the stands. Overall white men make terrible fighters. Even GGG was part Asian. You can't use guys like Canelo Alvarez because despite them looking white. They have tons of indigenous genes. There is a reason why Canelo has plenty of brown skin family members. Those indigenous genes overall help Canelo with a tougher nervous system because if you ask Hamzah Sheeraz who trains in LA with his Mexican coach. He will tell you that Latin fighters are on another level of toughness compared to British fighters. In the UK, they rely on technique and Soviet style generic stances. In LA, those Mexicans are trained to just take your head off. Hamzah in an interview even said that a 147 pound kid was giving him trouble on his first day in the gym whereas in Britain, he was dropping white boys with weak chins like flies across the UK.

    • @AmeenAnis
      @AmeenAnis 29 дней назад

      @SpiritualSeeker-oq5pt you need power, speed and chin in boxing too.
      White males make the worst boxers because despite their huge numbers in the west. They are virtually absent in the top 20 greatest boxers of all time except for the 1950s when segregation was still around. Black males and Latino males have a much higher genetic advantage over white males in boxing. Black males have overall athleticism whereas Latino males overall have chin and grit. Studies even show that indigenous Mexicans have a better muscle nervous system than whites which is why its harder for Mexicans to be knocked out. Pakistanis are light years stronger than white males in fighting. In the UK, if you take a 6 ft Pakistani male and a 6 ft white male with the same weight. The Pakistani generally has faster hands, more KO power, better reflexes and despite the rhetoric of Amir Khan, they even have better chins, because Amir Khan's couldn't handle Canelo or Garcia punches. However Amir knocked white boxers out all the time and was never knocked out by a white fighter.

    • @AshWadhwa-r6n
      @AshWadhwa-r6n 29 дней назад

      @SpiritualSeeker-oq5pt white males make terrible fighters in boxing. 90% of the stands are white yet none on the legends list. Black and Latino men are much stronger and faster than whites. From Ali to Roberto Duran to Mike Tyson.
      Even Pakistanis are better than white males. A 6 ft Pakistani vs a 6 ft white male with the same weight in the UK always has the Pakistani winning. White men lack power, speed and even chin, terrible footwork too.

    So basically, carb heavy diet of indians and insulin resistance predisposition to store it as fats is making india obese easily. We need to constantly be in calorie maintenance and rely on fats more than carbs cause our bodies are used to use fats as fuel during famines. Keto is suited for indians then. Carbs are killer. So high protein, moderate fats, low carbs diet. One meal a day preferably, to keep insulin low and use fats for fuel on regular basis. We have to shift from carb heavy to fat heavy ( keep in mind total calories to be at maintenance level) and practice intermittent to make insulin low. And get fats out of cells for use as fuel(ketosis). Carbs heavy only gonna spike insulin, keep us getting fatter, prevent fat usage, and type 2 diabetic.

    • @divergentchaman

      @SpiritualSeeker-oq5pt its tough to add more protein in indian typical diet bro. In my one meal a day, i eat 4 boiled eggs with 3 yolks. I cant have meat daily its expensive plus preparing daily isnt possible. And i try to keep natural sources so whey also i try to avoid. Also 1 katori dal i eat. 350gms, gives around 20gm proteins. Plus a ton of fibre. Yeah 40gm carbs too but considering in 350gm dal only 40gm carbs. Its fine. My daily carbs are at 100gms. I eat 1 roti which is low GI atta roti so it doesnt spike insulin and slowly digests so keeps me satiated for long time easily. I have no hunger in pne meal a day believe me. And i was a big time foodie eating tons of biryani some while ago 😂. Making lifestyle changes now.. i reached pre diabetic stage and NAFLD and hba1c of 5.6 but its my day 40th and lost 9kgs since i started this diet. I have lost weight before too but with no dietary knowledge just calorie restriction so i used to rebound with more weight every time when i came off those diets. Hunger was the biggest demon. But since starting low carb low gi one meal a day with high fat and proteins, in a slight calorie deficit. Its been wonders. No hunger whatsover with 1 meal a day. Btw i am on 1200 cal limit.

      I need to find a way to eat fat more easily. Carbs are easy to consume but fat is just too greasy and makes stomach upset

      @SpiritualSeeker-oq5pt im white american but my typical meals dont have much fat. adding oil ruins the taste unless its pasta, even then theres still more carbs than fat

      @@eddiesmith7867 u can try white butter on meat grills or healthy fats like nuts and omega 3 supps or fatty fish(salmon sardines anchovies). Olive oil for salad dressings. Avocados. But dont go overboard with calories that is all. 😉

      But they’re “south Asian” so indians will leach onto that to make them self feel better

    Not an Indian, but from the sri lankan standpoint the biggest issue is like you said, people have really regressive mentalities. The majority of people know only a handful of sports and most people have never even played anything else except cricket.

      r u saying as opposed to the west? i disagree. ive lived 20 years in south assia and 20 years in the west. i see no such difference. this is same for all countries. like u wud never see an american playing cricket :lmao:..although, one major reason for the regressiveness might be language barrieres, eg. not being able to speak english fluently. in fact, i wud say all south asian countries would be in a better position globally if their first language was english.....(economically and knowledge-wise at least).....for eg. you need good english to read a research paper (because they are unlikely to be translated to english).
