MADHUBALA Elegant Beauty Award is a smiling homage given by AKK to that character & life of “MADHUBALA”, who was like a rose in the thorny bushes & to the 100+ years of Indian Cinema.The founder, Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK awarded “CHIRAG-E-DAIR” to the famous Hindi, Bhojpuri, Assamese, Marathi & Gujarati Singer Usha Mangeshkar and awarded the MADHUBALA Elegant Beauty Award to famous RJ & Writer, Mrs. Madhur Brijbhushan.Picking up a name from the city, Varanasi, MADHUBALA Elegant Beauty Award was awarded to leading personality in the field of education & social work, Mrs. Pooja Madhok.It was a moment of honor for the city & entire state that Mangeshkars & Mrs. Brijbhushan accepted the award.For the award in eve, Madhur Brijbhushan and Mangeshkars received welcome by 21 youth Brahmins reciting ‘Kalyan Mantras’ & Shehnai performance by Pt. Mohan Lal Tyagi and Company.
Award Function started with Ayodhya King Raja Bimlendra Mohan Prasad Mishra, Kashi Princess KrishnaPriya, Lucknow Nawab Mir Zafar Abdullah, Acharya Pramod Krishnam & Satyadev Ji Maharaj lighting up the Lamp.
Mr. Pradeep Madhok, read the welcome note. Mr. Hitesh AKK opened and explained the award through the medium of short film. Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK awarded CHIRAG-E-DAIR 2016 to Usha Mangeshkar with the classic Ghalib Hat, Shawl & Trophy.As said in the scriptures, the flute that Lord Krishna used to play was lost at the time he left Vrindavan. Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK said that Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar is the reincarnation of that flute and thus gifted a golden flute to Usha Mangeshkar for the CHIRAG-E-DAIR award. Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK then gifted silver flutes to Bharti, Adinath & Krishna Mangeshkar.Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK awarded MADHUBALA Elegant Beauty Award 2016 to Madhur BrijBhushan with a crown, drape & trophy. Mrs. Madhur BrijBhushan said that she is really happy that a constructive & beautiful effort is being done on the name of her sister. She said that she is highly obliged to be a part of the awards and to receive the award in the name of her sister.Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK in his unique style gave a mesmerizing discourse on KRISHNA which was also the theme of the Awards this year. Guests with the Audience were mesmerized and inspired by his words. Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK explained how acceptance is the key to understanding Krishna and how the society today needs to understand Krishna for its upliftment. Afterall, Love & Acceptance are the only medication to eradicate the spiritual poverty in the society to develop productive and truly progressive individuals.
It was a moment of surprise for everyone when Usha Ji in return gifted Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK with a ‘SARASWATI Idol’ coming directly from Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK in his reply said that there couldn’t be a bigger honor than receiving Saraswati from a real life ‘SARASWATI’. Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar expressed her gratitude towards Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK and wished the people of Kashi and Baba Vishwanath on the screen. Asha Bhonsle on the screen said that Kashi has honored her younger sibling through this award. It is everyone’s wish to see the Shivnagri Kashi and her sister got an award here. It is a moment of honor for the Mangeshkars. Aazam Khan said that his friendship with Aadhyatm Murti Swami OMA The AKK is just because of the beautiful heart that Swami’s got. Aadhyatm Murti
Discussing about the event with Mr. Hitesh AKK (Manager - AKK), he said that it is a huge honor for Kashi and its people as the Mangeshkar & Madhubala Family accepted the award. Confidence of the team is very much boosted. It is a big thing in today’s time as people hardly think out of the capitalistic mindset and actually do something constructive for the upliftment of the people in the society. We have been doing this award in the past and will continue to do so in the future as the award is special for us and for the city and we will even try to extend our efforts in future.
