@@ItsDur5n2:27 Take any External Contract with "Christmas" in the cargo name. After attaching the Christmas-themed trailer, drive to one of the portals (usually a large rest stop).

If the AI drivers are bad in sunny conditions I can’t imagine them in snow
what an interesting way to call players on realistic servers
The best connection: this event+ frosty physics, its hardcore, sometimes you can become a helicopter
Haha yeah I've already had some really sketchy moments. You can also struggle to get up some hills if you're not careful

I wish this kind of snow was a mod for the normal map.. Project Next Gen can't seem to finish theirs for years
And SCS have also began working on making an actual snow season.There is always Alaskan Truck Sim which have snow
Would love to see snow return after this event, makes driving alot more challenging.
I love it , I hope they will keep this map. I've never had so much fun in this game since it was launched.

i live in the northernmost part of Sweden IRL and I can confirm the snow physics is realistic
It is assumed that it is possible to put a chain on the wheels. In Scandinavia, it is a criminal offense not to have it on the truck.
Is this all in the original game or are there some mods involved? It all looks so good😍👍🏻

Without a doubt it is the most beautiful event they have ever done, the only problem is the load game for Winterland and short routes. If it weren't for that, I'm sure I would do more at this Christmas event. I'm going to try to do 30 because I believe that the community's goals do not reach 5.

You know what breaks the immersion, driving for a hour and then I look outside and there is not even a single spec of dirt or snow or water. Not even on the windshield.
Makes me question did I just magically swap to a truck that did not even get out of manufacturing plant.
Come on. It's been 10 years give some effects atleast, people making grand theft auto 6 in that time and for God sakes give me a interior light, I don't even care if you copy paste a headlight or something and put it there just do it.
Like I dream about playing this game going over that road with that truck, and then I play this game and it's all just "keep using your imagination" or the immersion is gone.
SCS can't do this because of the Real Company don't allow them to make the in game truck have dirtiness or even scratches. Isn't SCSs fault, it's only licences limitations
@@klanndenerNo dirt, let alone damages. Also, manufacturers would rather show off their new trucks than vintage models.

Um. Does this mean I need to temporarily disable Grime's Frosty WInter mod?
You can leave it enabled. But disable the vehicle physics addon. I tested it and its like driving on soap on ice when you enter the winter wonderland.
This game is way to realistic feels like your driving a truck
It's a mad house on tmp so I play single player.

I did not do the event in ets 2 I did not like how the trucks get stuck did awesome on ATS DID NOT GET STUCK AT ALL
Did you lock the differentials? Lift a tag axle? Have at least 2 drive axles?
I completed minds on ATS the truck on ets2 Waz a dam hot mess.
I've tried to find it, I go to external deliveries and type chr in the search and it says nothing found? I thought it might be because I was using promods so I switched to a profile without any mods still the same, I'm registered with WOT.

@@nijom05 One thing extra has occurred to me, I wonder if to do with the fact I'm not using the latest version of ETS2.
I don't keep updating the game as soon as new versions come out as it breaks all my mods including promods so I wonder if you've got to be running the latest one, are you?
@@Being_Jeff I downgreaded the Version a few Weeks ago because of inkompatible mods. I fortgot to activate the auto update. Now i updated to the latest version and the Christmas Event works.

I dont understand how to get up the hills there, i get stuck everytime, nobody gets stuck. Just me.
Try the following, if available:
• Use a differential lock.
• Make use of crawler gears.
• Lift an unpowered axle.
• Have at least 2 powered axles.

Souhlasím. Bylo by dobré, kdyby přidali roční období. Např. nastavil by sis sám, jak by měsíce utíkaly a vybíral co třeba chceš.

your ban will expire if its not permanent, however if you buy the game again and go on TMP both accounts will get 90 days ban for ban evading, not worth it bro

No, the physics is different, try driving towards the Resort and stop on the uphill driveway, you will have a problem starting until you load the drive axle by lifting the pusher axle.
Different doesn't mean inadequate
@@GaryGod76 I treat this event as a quick beta just before Christmas and I hope that we will get seasons in two years 😅
